Went from an xe portfolio to a b9 a4 s line just boggo 2. 0 diesels 178 vs 187 bhp, miss the meridian in the jag the heated wheel and quick clear windscreen, its handling ride and the reverse cam but thats it possibly the full electric seats nothing more. Audi is vastly superior inside build wise. Refinement wise in a different league even on 19s. Performance wise its def nippier as its lighter and more powerful but thats not really what these are about, the refinement matters and the xe was truly appaling. How they sell these with an engine so grumbly and loud on takeoff is beyond me regardless of how many jag die hards exist. The s line seats are amazing in the a4 far more supportive than the full electric upgraded ones in the xe. Only the central bits were decent grade leather anyway in the xe. Space wise it was shocking. On the whole im happy with the change.

I've always maintained that if it is SPORT you are after, a BMW is your best bet and if it is LUXURY you are after, a Mercedes is your best bet. However, if you want something which lies in-between which also holds more practicality, an Audi is your car. But you have to be careful, in my country (South Africa, resale values for Mercedes are the highest of the bunch, followed by BMW and Audi. So you have to weigh your options quite carefully. Quite frankly, Jaguar is an alternative premium/ luxury brand for us.

but now it is quarantine and i am bored so i stoped by ur older videos.
2 things i have to say.
1. At the time these cars were the best on the market but it is bizzare how in 4 years they have aged not so good. They are literally old models now. and it has been only 4 years.
2. U as well as the cars have aged but not that bad: P hahaha

How come without sunroof car bid the panoramic roof mercedes? if you compare options sunroof make big difference and we are in gulf countries audi here after 3 years has major pistons oil leak and dsg. problems which coast to fix is almost half price of car
Audi maybe in Uk ok but here in dubai worst car to buy end of the day Mercedes is Mercedes for me in anywhere-

I have the 2017 jaguar xe with the supercharger v6. I got the jaguar because at least here in the United States you don't see many jaguars. everyone and they momma's have a Audi A4 or BMW 3 series or Mercedes c class. I see them everywhere! And normally when you buy a car you see it alot. But that hasn't been the case with the jaguar they are not as common. I hate having a car everyone has its annoying to me.

So with that Jaguar if there isn-t enough headroom leg room or enough space what-s the point of buying it then if there-s knows there-s not enough space in there what-s the point then what-s the point of using all that cash on a car that doesn-t have enough room inside what-s the point no point

Mercedes is a car for old folks who like to brag and pretend a lot how classy they are. old in both interior and exterior. Young people who would choose the Merc over the BMW actually scare me. :) I drove a lot of both and owned 2 BMW's because- Audi and Jag are ok. They try hard.

Great review!
Gonna buy a new car in two months and still unsure wether to pick c-class, a4 or 3 series.
Anybody got some longer term driving experience with either one of them?
I've watched so many reviews and read alot of info but I'm still having doubts.

XE interior is pretty awful. I wish it was better and more modern. A4 wiped the floors of all of those what came into interior. Overall A4 looked the best to my eyes outside too. If it weren't for that horrible rear in XE, I would have think it looked the best.

A4- everything you need, in a well aging classy design. The rest will age terribly. The wheels on the Mercedes are outdated from day 1, and the rest already look like they are from 2005.
the rest is out the window, no gimmicks or tricks. Bless you Audi.
