Im 43 and I just wanna give my opinion, the honda and the ford look to be off the movie fast and furious, both really good cars in the performance department and would be ideal if I worked with the circus, please keep in mind I have given money to honda already -2017 CRF 450R- and ford has got money from me as well -91 mustang, 78 f150, 92 Taurus SHO-. I tend to stick with the proven long lasting vehicles and in my world Volkswagen is the car I choose to purchase for a zippy commuter, vw may be the slowest in this video but the fit and finish of the Golf R is my style and the history of the golf is pretty much bullet proof as far as reliability and versatility impresses me a lot, plus there is no tracks around where I live. - 'track mode- hahahahahahahaha I find that funny for some reason.

Now I'm really confused. my mate has a 2015 Golf 7R DSG and every single time he has raced a Focus Rs robot to robot he has dropped all of them. and i know he has no tune because he has an extended warranty, he won't even get a downpipe. how is it possible that he rips the Rs like that. 4 out of 4 races o have been in the car with him and there is this one stretch in particular that a few hundred meters over a quarter mile he leaves them for dead. how? And yes he uses launch control

If I had to buy one of the 3. it would be the Type R! Golf R for what it is. albeit a nice car. just looks bland. the quad exhaust is the only thing that sets it apart from the other Golfs. Saying that. the GTI equivalent looks way better with the red piping running through the head lights. against the R. Was a big fan of the previous Focus RS's. but somehow. i'm struggling to form a relationship with the new RS!

If I wanted a performance FWD car, Honda would be the company I-d look to. They-ve been the masters of FWD performance for decades.
If I wanted something dull and uninteresting, it-d be the VW for sure.
The RS is an anomaly. It-s unlikely that we-ll see another vehicle like it (especially at that price) any time again in the near future. It-s the gem of a generation.

Driven the Golf R and the RS, had the opportunity to buy one, bought the RS. It's a much better driving car. I've also had less problems with my RS than my friend with his Golf R of the same year(2017.
These comment sections are hilarious with the blind fanboys that can't afford either. LOL

Nice Ford Focus RS commercial.
Reality: Expensive, uncomfortable, bland interior, and unfortunately not reliable on the road or at a track.
Better off with a Focus ST - more options, more reliable, less expensive, less gimmicks, and comfortable.

I just knew it from the moment where the gear shifter was hidden and never mentioned on the Golf R that it's not the beast itself -DSG-. because if it would have been the DSG, get a DSG. and drag race it with those car you'll see ---

luckily me and a small group of friends all own these cars! me including a Golf R DSG. Golfs definitely the best car for everyday use. cant help but stare at the RS though. Tyre R gets the most looks in traffic. hmm tough one -

Of course you can-t do that if you have children sitting in the back that will be dangerous or they might get scared and think that you will like and think that you-re so so hooligan driving around like a maniac in a rally car
