Nice (short) review. As pointed out by other reviewers (not here), when sitting in the rear seats, your legs are not sufficiently supported. Here again, this is clearly visible in the video: there is a big gap between seat and the back of the knees and part of the thigh. This is probably done because by lowering the seats, you win headroom. On long distances however, this gets tiring. The former Renault Espace models (the current I don't know) had the same issue: good seating, but knees too high up.

Hi Mat, i'm from new zealand i bought my 2017 3008 GT on sept and we are loving it especially my wife. i just have one concern when i am driving, i always have a sore knee after because of the position of the brake and gas pedal as it is a bit in the middle of the steering wheel not so much on the right most part like the japanese cars. i have to reach out too far to step on the brake. i was just wondering if anyone have the same sentiments as me. thanks.

Great review, Mat. Checked one out on CarWow and my local dealership is providing me with a good deal. I'm about to order the Allure 1. 2 petrol auto version, as it's performance around town and on a dual carriageway impressed me. It's all I need for my mainly shortish m/way trips. The iCockpit is stunning and the instruments are so high up I will not miss the head up display on my BMW. Build quality appears to be really good.

Pros: great interior design and lots of useful tech. Cons: Questionable exteriors, underpowered engines and badly executed automatic transmissions. In other words: typically French. It's nice to see though Peugeot finding its way back to good handling.
As for car makers Nav systems: most if not all of them suck. Apple, Google, TomTom etc are much much better at this which is why connectivity is very useful

I may be one of the few to say this, but I honestly dislike the interior to this thing. It just seems over designed and gearing too much towards track/super cars. The fact that the only controls on the center console are switches and they're all just lined up like that. Also, the fact that the steering wheel is tiny will make the car feel overly large. But, in the end, to each their own.

the only problem I see with purchasing one of these (considering that peugeot focuses mainly on diesel) is that it seems that the EU is taking a strong stand against diesel engines. I've heard people saying that by 2020 there will be a total ban of buying new cars with diesel. correct me if i'm wrong because I don't want to buy a 30k car which after 3 years will be drastically depreciated.

Have they sorted out the engines and electrics? My 3008 sh! t the bed after 40k miles, was off the road for 2 weeks with the common carbon fauling (1. 6THP. Have vowed to never buy a French car in this life time, the only thing I miss is the HUD. But at least I don't get the feeling of will it be this journey I'm stuck on the side of the road.

test drove a 1. 2t allure at the weekend. was amazed at how responsive the engine was in town and on the dual carriageway. dealership had a few different colours on show too and tbh the colour in this video is probably the worst to show it in. looked stunning in black and pearl white. a very impressive car tbh.

The first iteration of 3008 was very problematic in my country, reliability is terrible plus the service centers are incompetent in resolve the problems. After 3-4 years the care only held 20% resale value. Hopefully they improved a lot this time, this car looks quite good.

This is probably a long shot, given how old the video is, but here goes: I'm looking into buying this car used and especially felt for the light/white interior. All models I find is having dark interior. Is this some kind of special model?
