The Lexus RC enters a stacked coupe competition, facing tough opposition from the likes of the BMW 4 Series, Mercedes C-Class coupe and Audi A5. So how does this Japanese competitor compare? Can the Lexus RC stand on its own two feet, or does its sportier brother the Lexus RC F make a more tantalising offer? Will most people prefer a racier driving experience? Mat answers all of the above and more in our 4k review of the Lexus RC

So What if there isn't a diesel version available. This is a hybrid coupe and it is beautiful as a coupe should be unlike a BMW or an Audi with that hideous nondescript grill. Coupes are not practical and you dont buy a coupe for its practicality. This is a coupe you travel in style and superb comfort and arrive at your destination relaxed as a lexus should be. It isnt a boy racer and it isnt meant to be so get an Audi or a BMW if you want to be a boy racer. This ia a car to be driven and enjoyed if you are content in your life and dont need to show off the size of your p. s.

For those who are bashing the car please look deeper into the options for this car. First off the RC 200 is the lowest grade of the vehicle. Not a lot of horsepower, small engine and very little torque. The step up from that is the RC 350. Still mostly the same as the 200 but has more horsepower. Now the 350 Fsport. This grade level changes the appearance of this car and comes with a v6 with 305 horsepower.
Step up from up from that you have the RCF. Badass car with lots of horsepower and stunning to look at.

I get it Mat, you don't like Lexus and you love Mercedes, BMW, and Audis, so you pick out any negative you can find. Anyone who purchases a small coupe expecting a large back seat and trunk is in the wrong market. Anyone who purchases a hybrid -green- car expecting performance is also in the wrong market. Instead of pointing out what Lexus has done right, you choose to criticize the car for not being a 4 door sedan with a huge trunk and an overstressed engine which will be a maintenance nightmare down the road

I worked for lexus and omg. every single car 2016 and up has the new interior design and the stitching frays and falls apart. I'm talking about all 2016 models and up, the stitching is coming apart on their first time service which is 1 month after driving it brand new off the lot. That is just the least of your worries if you buy a lexus. so yea. DO NOT buy any lexus cars that are 2016 and up. Simply bad quality cars.

that color is a stunner. perfect car, just the fact there is a fan in the lamps. thats quality genuine quality. the pillars are big because it probably is overbuilt so it will save your life in a crash. so the only thing i cant really like the 0-60 time 9 sec is really bad for a sporty looking car. A diesel with some torque would help on that also.

This is the LEAST popular Lexus in the USA for a few reasons. 1. Lexus is unfortunately seen as an -old people- car. 2. The Indy 500 rear end design doesn't flow 3. It's a coupe. Other than that? It's a perfect car. I have 400, 000 km in my 350ES and it still runs like new. At 75mph or 120kph? this car is literally sleeping.

The way I see it, the interior of the Lexus RC is perhaps one of the most beautiful interiors throughout modern vehicles today. And that's coming from a new GTR owner! By the way, people on MDMA aren't nicer then people on PCP and/or potheads! Potheads are the original -good Samaritans-. lol

I own a 300h and I've owned most major brands, Lexus is so reliable and a joy to drive and please remember what country we live in the speed limits and speed bumps. I feel so sorry for petrol and diesel car owners talking and comparing old technology with new hybrids it's a amusement for me.

I've had my Is300H 2014, F-sport with the premium package (cooled seats etc) for about 2. 5 years now and i am still in love with it. i can feel -sporty- when needed and drive around like a proper king all day.
And the lexus dealership gave me the best experience ever.

1: 25 you know the best thing about having the driver on the Left side of the car, is that when you need to use the -computer pad- or -screen- you have your right hand available. And most people are right handed. And I do not want to shift with my left hand. haha crazy
