Would never say the golf uses cheap materials. Uses very plush stuff on the top of the dash as they always have, for sound insulation, the lower parts which get kicked and abused are strong, admittedly not soft touch but does that matter? Overall fit and finish is way better than anything else in its class.

Carwow or mat - what do you think of the diesels mpg/emission scandal wise? My dad's thinking of getting one & would be good to know what you think. He's is wondering what it is like in the real world, better than BMW diesels? Loving the vids btw and keep up the good work!

Hey Matt, where is the aux cable located? Is it in the storage area just infront of the gear stick, or the glove compartment? Or do they even have an aux input or is it that rubbish iphone 4 adapter still?
