There is a special place reserved in hell for the corporate prick that chose to get rid of that 4. 2 V8 powerplant. One of the most sonorous, sumptuous and stimulating engines ever built has been chucked in favour of an engine that lags well behind the dynamite 5 cylinder in both the RS3 and TT RS. Do yourself a favour and buy a B7 RS4 Avant with a manual gearbox, better than the smug, soulless, -nothing to prove- knob end that this car is.

Audi USA's marketing is such garbage in the USA. They've all but abandoned manual transmissions, we only had the RS4 for two years ('07-'08, never had the RS6, only had the RS5 briefly and currently only have the RS3 sedan (not hatch model for us) and RS7. I'm pretty sure the US is Audi's biggest single market in the world.

Lol, V8 music versus V6 chatter and 100 fewer HP and probably a lot less torque. unless they are selling these 20 k cheaper than a C63 only fanboys of dull driving audi's will buy this. Hell, I'd even prefer a C 400 4matic over this. At least that one isn't trying to look tough when it isn't.

Been a hardcore audifan for a looong time since iw as a toddler but i gotta say. nowerdays its a bit. soo much. not ''elegant'' anymore. It's just a bit too ''shouty'' for ym personal likings. but again. who am i to say anything, i wont be able to afford one either way: P

Agreed about carbon fiber interior trim pieces looking tacky. It's just patterned plastic, people. Just like Alcantara is your everyday ultrasuede. Stop paying gobs of extra money for cheap kit with fancy marketing.

RS4 vs C63? If you want it AWD you have to get the RS4, for track use please go for something else. But after all the Merc V8 is at least a class above the 6 cylinder stuff (M4, ATS-V, Alfa QV, RS4.

Great car, practical, great interior quality, wheels are amazing. Audi makes great wheels on their cars! I think only the engine should be better, downsizing is the trend now though.
