I am using the UK Made 2018 Civic SR Hatchback in Sri Lanka, the maintenance minder in my car was showing remaining milage till the second service and the service center people have reset the oil life via Launch x431 scanner when they did the service. and now the car is showing oil life as remaining days and there is no option to revert it back to show it in remaining milage. service guys again try to change it to milage via the same scanner but even the scanner does not have an option to change it to milage. is there anyone who faced a similar issue? or anyone can help me to fix that issue?
I have seen some cars have the service minder in days or percentage or milage, is it something to do with the region?
Another issue --- When I turn off the auto-idle stop it used to show -Auto Idle Stop- or -Auto idle Start-, but now the message only shows just -Stop- or -Start-

I have the MK8 1. 4 vtec and that engine is lacking. But when I'm in 2nd and rev high, I love it, so for that reason I want to try out a Civic with more power and a bigger engine. I've been looking at these and hope the price falls relatively soon as I want the 1. 5 turbo, I just don't know what to expect (but awesomeness. I've driven a 1. 2 tfsi and the turbo kick in is beautiful, so a vtec with turbo. Unimaginable

My old man got the 1. 0 litter model and its amazing. 120 horse and the turbo kicks it really low down so its rapid all the way up to the ton and it handles like a go kart, Its now 3 years old and no problems except the aircon stopped blowing cold air, haven't had it fixed yet so am not sure what's happened. Very nice car but Ill take my 1999 2. 2l Prelude over all this modern guff any day.

Honda civic 8th generation sedan had a lot more space behind, even three full grown adults (over 1. 8m) could fit behind seats quite easily without hitting heads to the roof. I did not test this version of Honda but seems like newer civics are not suitable for me because of that problem. Need to keep looking another option. maybe cr-v?

Yeah the back window is small but why didn't you mention that the car has a back camera then? I love my back camera and I can't live without it anymore. Every time I put a car in reverse and I am like: -Awww you don't have a back camera. - It is like when you have it you didn't know you missed that in other cars.

These 1. 5 engines almost feel like the turbo comes in twice. Around 2000rpm and again at 4000/45000 rpm. May be due to the I-vtec but I definitely liked it when I drove one. Even the CVT is really nice to drive. (I work for a Honda approved centre) can-t believe the reliability of hondas after leaving Audi.

As a woman, the -shark- how i like to call my 1. 5 is the best choice. DO IT! BUY IT! Go ahead before i will go buy them all until you ll find none left on the market; )

Hello people! Would anyone owning a 1. 0 or a 1. 5 give me some fuel consumption numbers? I'm seriously considering buying one, but can't decide which one is more fuel efficient. I'd like to know fuel eco in the city especially.

I had a Honda Civic Type R purchased new in 2002. AMAZING car. Unfortunately I was involved in an accident & it was wrote off. I know its ridiculous but I'm devastated as I've travelled the length & breadth of the UK in it.

What's the ground clearance like? I'm thinking of finally upgrading my 07 civic (the thing just won't die) but I absolutely hate how it scrapes on everything! I've lost 2 wheel arch trims to pot holes in the last 2 years.
