This is the all-new Aston Martin Vantage. Coming in at -120, 000 and packing a twin-turbo AMG V8 engine, is this proof that the brute-force of German engineering can successfully combine with the elegance & guile of British craftsmanship? Join me as I take you through the speed test, show you how it performs on track, along with everything else you need to know

the amg gt sounds actually better, amg gt also feels to be a more finished product, mor eenjoyable on long drive and on twisty roads. This vantage is beautiful, amazing design but feels not finished. Not a fan of the infotainment and cockpit as well as buttons. Panel gaps, plasticky bits, no cruise control, weird quirks and pretty bad infotainment is a lot of negatives for a 200+k car. Still cool tho

Why when you did a performance test on the track, did you use a totaly different car to the production model?
The production car had 2x exhausts, yet the track car you used for the performance test, had quad exhausts! Sudgesting the performance figures you gave in the video, were from a -faster, track version car-? Please clarify why you did this?

The clearance between bodywork parts is shockingly huge.
In addition the sheer base of the Vantage is from Mercs shelf - not to mention the infotainment disaster.
When did Aston stop to build engines themselves?
What a pity. Stunner of a car with such disappoiting background.

He said the roads in Portugal are smooth. I'm portuguese and let me tell you the roads in Portugal are not the best, there is still a lot of potholes on many roads. i've been in a few european countries and the best roads i've driven on were in germany.

I love your car reviews but, how can this be an Aston Martin if it uses a Mercedes engine & a few other bits? Don-t get me wrong, I-d have one ( as if I could afford it ) but car lovers & purists will have a field day putting this car down. ----

I know a car that is better looking than this and will cost half of this.
The new RX from Mazda. Probably with less issues like the front bumper flex or the panel gap. Really 120k?

If you first start watching this video with your eyes closed, you-d be thinking ooooh a new AMG Mercedes, no no no no an Aston Martin Is supposed to scream not growl

If you think that looks like a Renault Megane check out the c class coupe. Even the e class coupe the rear ends look so much more similar than the Aston

It-s more Scotland than Britain why won-t we say the actual country because loads of people are gonna think that it-s England. It is Scottish Ian Callum

And there's me thinking the paddle shifters on my Clio Trophy 220 were metal. Oh hang on. Do your bl--dy research before slagging Renaults. Thanks
