This is the new Audi Q8! We already knew it had a seriously imposing design, but does Audi-s new top-of-the-range SUV live up to the hype and meet expectation? Watch my latest review to find out my final verdict after I put the Q8 through its paces in Chile-s Atacama desert!

I went to the dealer for my monthly service on my 2017 SQ5 and Audi tried every thing in the book to get me to trade in my car for the Q8, the deal they offered was ok that I almost traded my car, but having a hard time with those monthly payments and seeing myself spending 86k+ for the car at the end of the deal. It's an awesome car drives smooth, acceleration is great but a tad bit noisy on acceleration, i guess sports turning, in the end it all came down to the cost. it don't take much option to put it in the 80 to 90k range. the problem I found is at that price you don't get the upgraded Sline engine like in the S line brands, only the S line design. I'm sure Audi will offer an SQ8 line upgrade engine down the road but i guest the price will be way north of 100k+. this car is gorgeous and I love it but I'm still working out the payments plan with Audi. note the matrix lights are not available on the standard premium model, but it's optional on the premium plus model $1200 package and if you get the (one year package) that has some additional option that will add an additional $2650 to your matrix light. the matrix light are standard on the prestige, but that's what makes the car stands out so why make it an option it should be standard on all models. sorry guys no Sline engine upgrades yet only one engine offer 3. 0T. luv it though.

Audi-s whole name system is messed up.
1 is a subcompact hatchback
2 is only available as a tiny crossover
3 is subcompact
4 is compact
5 is compact coupe
6 is midsize
7 is midsize coupe-ish hatchback
8 is full size
They may as well just scrap it and go with BMW-s numbers because those make sense.
1 is subcompact
2 is subcompact coupe (c for short)
3 is compact
4 is compact c
5 is midsize
6 is midsize c (though discontinued)
7 is full size
8 is full size c
It goes in order starting on 1 but Audi skipped 1 and 2, made 3 subcompact, skipped the subcompact coupe, and went from there. I don-t understand why. It just makes it way more complicated than necessary. The letters aren-t that messy but don-t make a whole lot of sense, then again I don-t speak German. They really just should use the numbers the same way BMW does, but the letters are fine

Someone else gave their review of this a similar title but, I think that people who want an X6 are more performance oriented than buyers of the Q8. If I want a theoretically similar concept to this from BMW, I would buy a 6series GT for much less money and get similar ground clearance, similar power, equal luxury and definitely more comfort and practicality.

Driving the Q8 around the Atacama desert. Could there be a better day in the office? Lately my days at the office have gone so bad that I'm going crazy. the management expects the same (or better) results than a year ago while there's a freaking pandemic that basically slashed the economy by 10-15%. I'm going maaaaaad.

And I don't like the way the badge says '50 TDI'. Very misleading. Some people would think it's a 5 litre. Like the mercedes C43, it's actually a 3 litre, and the C63 is a 4 litre. I understand they don't have much choice with the engines, but they definitely have a choice when it comes to labelling their cars.

I don't like the design language, it just don't feel good. Something is missing, I don't know what but something is missing. And I don't know what they mean when they say it's better than the BMW X6, I really don't understand. Carwow is foes with BMW, we get it.

Obviously the Q8 was going to happen after the Urus was released. A bad idea using that base for the Q8, I was expecting it to be a lot bigger, it should really be called the Q6.
BMW have done it right with the X8, even though it's somewhat bulky and square.

It-s a shame because this car is the patrol model it-s got a six cylinder petrol engine which actually looks really good and the interior is amazing I-m so it should have Real exhausts
