Nice video - but why is nobody speaking about the crappy software in the Golf 8. I owe a 4 month old Golf 8 R with a black screen since 3 weeks. Checking online I discovered VW recalled 56000 Golf 8. Das war -das Auto-: -(

I'm amazed that such a heavy sq7 can almost beat the fast and furious light golf R. Didn't expect that at all. Even with the V8 i was not expecting it to launch that sq7d that quick! What an special race! Thanks!

An interesting quarter mile test would be if both cars had a stage 1 tune, meaning the ecu is delimited and performance optimized. I think the SQ7 would become an absolute monster fully delimited.

I thought that Audi SQ7 would smash the Golf R, and while it still did, it didn't by much, surprisingly. That 2. 0-L 4-cylinder engine did pretty well.
