This is the all-new Peugeot 508! There-s no denying that the new 508 is one of the best looking family hatchbacks available today. But as ever, good looks don-t always come cheap! With a starting price of -25, 000 that can easily creep up by an extra -10k when you add options, is the 508 worth such a hit on your wallet? Join Mat for his latest in-depth review to find out!

My fomer employer made us drive peugeots as our fleet cars, so here's my two takes on them:
The a-pillas are a nightmare. They're the biggest I've ever seen. To make things worse, there's a completely unnecessary plastic trim on them that makes them ever wider. Coming into a stop-sign crossroads in one of those just sucks.
Yes, the whole body structure is soft. You can feel it giving way to every bump on the road. You hit a twig on a road, you hear it crushing your car roof as all those forces transfer through the car. Not comfortable, not nonfidence inspiring. Makes me worried about the car rigidity.

Wow! What a wonderful looking car, SPACE AGE dashboard, lots of neat tech, etc, but the point Matt makes about the uncomfortable rear seats, rear legroom, rear headspace is worrying. Okay, the Ford Fusion (USA) / Ford Mondeo Mk5 (UK) is a different kettle of fish - but the back end interior is, IMHO far better! Also, look inside the Mondeo Mk5 hatchback boot - It's huge! For these reasons, I'd save some cash and buy the Mondeo mk5 (UK) Fusion (US) Petrol Automatic. Cheers!

That car is meant for two adults to enjoy. I adjusted the front seat to accommodate my massive 175 cm body and then went to test the back seats. I couldn't fit! There was plenty of knee room, but if I can't fit my shoes below the front seats all of that knee room is useless. Honestly I couldn't care less though. That car is absolutely stunning. My cat will be ok in the back.

Owned a 407 sedan for couple of years and loved the ride. Though i hated the issues it regularly came with at random and the accompanying ping sound from the dashboard. Bought an OBD reader to reset the computer because having to go to the dealer to reset it costed me a lot. I really really really really really hope the 508 is more reliable in that sense.

Man. That dashboard. Just took my heart.
Other car companies should learn to be creative like them.
I loved mazda 3 interior. But after looking at this. I just can't take my eyes from it.
Definitely that light, hook and space at back. Are poor
But I love to drive and really want to own this one. Unfortunately not available in India

Great car but only the diesel has a manual transmission. The real drivers choose manual. Here in Europe we prefer it. Americans don't how to drive that is why they prefer auto. Long story short that is the reason why i prefer the Hyundai i30 N.

Lovely but will sadly depreciate like a rock sinking in a garden pond. And like the other new models, they all look great and funky but will have usual Peugeot build and material quality and all the lovely tech will go wrong! Stick with Toyota people!

Love how English try to put French cars down. Oh the light hurts my eyes. Ooh the cup holder is not deep. The seat back net doesn't hold much. Come on the car is beautiful. Great quality. They have done a great job and I'm not even a Peugeot fan.

I see i am a minoity but imo this car is hideous, outside and definetly on the inside. I dont know what peugeot were thinking. And i do hate capacitive buttons. If you like it i am really flabbergasted but more power to you.
