To be fair, the BMW E30 M3 was released 10 years before the Audi RS2. But this shows how much of a beast the Audi was at the time. I mean, 315hp in a station wagon was pure insanity at this time.

I hope that I will be able to afford an RS2 or RS4 B5 one day. I'd settle for an S2 wagon as well. They are one of those attainable dream cars, that you could feasibly drive until the day you die.

I don't think this was a fair challenge at all-, I think you should have put it up against an e36 aswell. Than I'm pretty sure the beamer would have destroyed the Audi in that case

RS2 is mental, my brothers friend had one a few years ago, rebuilt motor in germany and 650ish hp. that thing was a beast, when the turbo kicked in it felt like a spaceship.

That 2. 2 litre 5 cylinder has crazy tuning potential. Just fit bigger turbos and better intake and it will easily make 800+ hp
