I strongly prefer the sound of the turbo 4 engine - more bass, more balls, better performance and much stronger acceleration! By contrast, to me the 6 cyl sounds like a very large sewing machine. Its what you get used to. Back in my younger days, my best friend always bragged about his mom's wonderful cooking. Eventually, the girl I was dating and I were invited to dinner at his house and his mom made her famous spaghetti. Of course afterward, we were very polite and thanked her profusely for the -wonderful- dinner. But driving back home, we both admitted that neither of us liked the spaghetti at all! Its all about what you get used to. So please shut up about the wonderful sound of the Porsche flat 6, cause it really ain't that wonderful!

I have owned one of this and you don't put lot of focus on the details of experience for this type of car. The trunk is very well engineered and impressive for this kind of car. you hit your knee on the door, come on, nobody buy a car like this and expect a friendly -walk in and out the car-, highlight the new feature. how it feels epoxy glues to the road and things like that. I think u understand.

I agree that you should buy it. It seems dichotomous that you would say to just buy this car but in a subsequent video say it-s one of the 10 worst replacement vehicles ever made. I do agree that at high rpm-s they don-t sound as good as a flat six but that-s the only time. Around town or cruising, it makes no difference. And, the performance more than makes up for the difference, IMO.

While These videos are informative or well cars they seem to have a upgraded model instead of a standard model because let-s face it none us would in their right mind buy a ultra expensive car because a you will end up paying more for the bells and whistles than you would actually buying the car by its self or is that just me

I love the Boxster S but never been a fan of the 4 cylinder engine. I have the 04 Boxster S with the flat 6 & a sports exhaust. Porsche are a bit like Marmite, you either love them or hate them. I love them. Great review. ---

Why does every car have a shitty central screen except tesla bmw and Mercedes i mean come on if you give that much money for a car it better have a full on 20- monitor i mean even 28- 4k monitors barely cost 200$ these days

the price is never -really- the price with a Porsche as the option lists are endless however it does mean that you can have a vary customized product which is one of the big selling points.
