The A4 2017 Model 3. 0TDI with 272HP and the A4 2019 3. 0 TDI 286HP has the same 0-100km/h in 5. 0 seconds. Because of the cleaning emmision to Euro 6d they had to increase the power in the 2019 Model to compensate the lost of energy. I don't know why the did not do this in the RS3 2019 as well.

Very good video. I'm currently trying to decide which one to buy. I can't believe you didn't do a noise comparison. Please can you do another video on New VS Old cars when effected by WLTP regulations. RS3, Golf R, A45 to name a few. Make sure you include the comparison on how they sound!

Some of these differences in torque curves could be in the different factory tunes. What would be interesting is if a tuner tuned both cars to see which they could get the most from. But top end being better on the car with a less restrictive exhaust makes complete sense.

Bigger difference between pre WLTP S3 and Golf R as they both lost an injector rail and the second set of fuel injectors along with 10bhp. The pre WLTP cars had 8 injectors with the second set directed at the valves to prevent carbon build up.

I think the differences are basically to the point wjere they barely matter, it was close enough that just a fraction of reaction time changed the result. There IS a difference, as demonstrated, but seemingly hardly significant

Terrible comparison, Newer car looks like it had Sunroof vs older does not. And also both drivers did not leave the car in just S. They changed at different RPM which changed the power dramatically!
