Although I really like the way Mat makes his videos and the quality of his videos
I-ve noticed from the ton of videos I watched that he is biased he is always biased towards the European cars
I mean you can-t compare A Toyota to a BMW I mean you can-t side with one car because their prices are different very different
When comparing two cars we can-t just compare them because they are in the same range
No prices are important
How is a car manufacturer supposed to make a car as good the other if it-s not the same production cost
So I don-t accuse you wrongly you did mention the price difference in this video
But then again that small price difference could-ve upped the car to your luxury standards

The thing is this is a -Third party world car- because no need much maintenance. I have to say the maretial steel used in this car is 10x better then UK Land or US Jeep so ppl dont comment globally it depends on WHERE you are.
I have been in Alaska and there is only Toyota so think about it why.
If you want comfort SUV then buy Lamborghini Urus if you need in Europe mountains then Toyota if your budget is 50% less then Jeep, if you need this also for city shopping then LandRover 2. 0l. but still Raw 4x4 or Cruiser is most used cars in the world in the mountains and old school ones because of service; )

Having owned a Landrover, Now owning a Landcruiser. I wouldnt go back to Landrover again. Such a reliable & basic 4 wheel drive. No problems with the moter at all after 4 years, Unlike the Landrover which seemed like i had to take to a mechanic once a fortnight. I tow my boat, Caravan off road every chance i get with this big cumbersome vehicle. But it powers thru any obstacle in its way. The Landrover would shit itself lol.

Mat Watson you really mentioned German brands well I own one of these beasts it a zx v8 variant ohh boy it's a beast nothing can stop it I haven't towed a g class of bmw but I have seen a land cruiser that was participating in a rally And I saw that land cruiser tow a bmw whith was stuck in sand and couldn't go up a steap slope.

I would not compare this with a Benz or a Bmw this car has a history behind that badge, never heard of Bmw or Benz to reach over 300k miles with the same engine or transmission and on top of that maintenance for this vehicle is nothing compare with the other 2.

It may not have modern looks like Range rovers or BMW look, It may not have modern features like mercedes or audi has, it may not be as luxury as Bentley or Rolls Royce but still a land cruiser is a land cruiser

This video made me think that you dont know a thing about cruiser and it's durability. However BMW, and the rest of vehicles are significant as they are packed with tec but the maintenance is never ending.

Here in the US we were lucky enough to have both the big V8 Land Cruise and the Prado (in the form of a Lexus GX) up until 2021, when it was announced that the 300-series LC would not be sold here: (

Land cruiser is the best of all SUVs. To mention, it's easy to mantain apart from the crazy fuel consumption which indeed is not different from Range Rover and heavy super powered engine vehicles
