Honestly, if you already have a seperate funbox and therefore aren-t looking for something that-s insanely pure the RSQ8 must be one of the best daily drivers out today. It-s really comfy and heavy, yet it-s engineered to mask the weight in every day driving, making it still very safe in collisions, due to its good engineering and weight. Also it-s plenty fast as a Daily and has a lot of room. Only downside is that it-s pretty but for maneuvering around town.

Couple of things - the engine re-start on vehicle move off - that's not special unfortunately. My Mk7. 5 Golf R does the same thing. Also, if you've got the cruise active, it'll also take off by itself as well providing you haven't been stopped for too long. The gearbox response is dependent on the mode you're in. If you put it into Dynamic, the shifts are far more crisp. That's the same across all of the recent Audi models.

Oh, come on! Mat said that it's same as a Lamborghini Urus. Come on! Audi can never be a Lamborghini. Neither in it's sound, performance nor in the brakes, speed, standing quarter, driving experience and 0-60 mph. The Urus is the fastest SUV ever on this planet. Nobody can beat it. Congrats Lambo. You build supercars and you have built a luxury SUV which is fastest in the planet. Well done Lamborghini.

Unless you want constant electronic problems like Navigation system not working, etc. I would not recommend buying a RSQ8. They put too much electronics in this SUV and it seems the RSQ8 always working on overdrive just to get the navigation, radio and other electronics to just work.

Mat always quotes highway code 96m but that includes thinking time. 75m for stoping time. But what I'm interested in, does he only use his specialist time gear on high performance cars or also ordinary cars? I'd like to see a car with normal brakes to the same test.

I didn't really like this suv until now, the way how to took that corner at speed plus you went a little airborne, that did it for me but I'll still take the bmw wish that had the benz interior but.

Why does he say that you get more stopping power with the carbon ceramic brakes when all they do is reduce fade less that the steel ones but does not mean that they are sharper?
