You in specific go on and on and on about BMWs, have you actually owned any mate or do you just test drive and think you know how they run.
Firstly, the problem with BMW is they are overrated, hook, line and sinker. I mean any company that decides that the battery to go in the boot and is almost impossible to get out needs to be castrated and killed, seriously. The BMW is constantly using electric even when it is off and parked. That means as a battery killer, BMWs are no1 at it. Getting the battery out 1/10 because you need to understand the crypton factor to get the effer out.
This is one of numerous problems BMW have that more regular brands do not have. Yet you harp on about BMWs as if they are Bentleys or Mercedes-Benz higher level Mercs, but they are not, they are rubbish, total overrated rubbish.
You obviously do not own one, do you. What you do is hire them or get a test-drive for a day or a week, you dont own them therefore you cannot claim what you do with them mate, sorry, but they are crap.
But the biggest design fault is the battery in the boot that is almost impossible to get out. Very BMW, of course you think the sun shines out of their backside you do, the guy doing the review in this video. Not got a bloody clue mate, like most car reviewers, because YOU DONT OWN THEM, you hire them or have them for a week.

Actually M5 e60 SMG is a 7 speed gearbox. Back then, this transmission was pretty fast. There wasnt any other option which can handle 507hp and such high rpm. I know its not the most reliable car, but it was so ahead of its time, even today it is still impressive. And thats true to the entire e60 series, its still looks and feels modern. Its ages like a good wine.
Funfact: the second version of the s85 V10 was ready for the f10 M5, but thanks to EU emission bla bla, it got replaced with the 4, 4 V8 twinturbo. Its really sad it couldnt make it, maybe that could have been more realiable and with the f10 M5 DCT(dual clutch) it would have been a dream.

Woah hold your horses!
Considering the e92 m3 has such an up to date cult following I think you have missed that fact? I believe as many others will that the e92 has a glorious v8, the only m3 to ever have a v8! and ever will have a v8! added to that fact its the last ever m3 coupe! So please please please Car WOW, give the lovely 414 bhp high rpm e92 v8 m3 a slot on the all time greats of M cars! Because Im sure it is and always will be?

I-m in the market to buy a new car and I really love bmw. I am currently doing research on what is the most reliable engine. I have read mixed reviews, some articles says the e46 is the best and others say e90, and some say f30. If anyone can please get back to me and tell me which is the most reliable and why, that would be greatly appreciated!

The M5/M6 V10 has a 7 speed SMG3 not a 6 speed, which is much faster that the 3 peddle car due to the shift speeds when it is in full kill mode and the extra gear in the trans. Also the delimited top speed of the M6 is 337 km/h or 207 mph, I know, I have been there!

I agree, the E24 (Along with the E9 3. 0 CSL) is BMWs best ever looking car. I have to agree with your list but would have the M2 comp in the list in place of the 1M which to me was never a real M car

Surprised the handling of the E36 didnt make it into the list. Not to mention the F10 and F90 M5 - but guess top 10. Yet that means to say the M1 and M635 CSI are above those cars?

Not only E93, but F12 M6 Should have made it too. I own both, and literally I get lots of compliments from most people because they look extremely beautiful and perform just amazing.

Correction: The M button on the 1M does not give an additional 50Nm of torque.
The extra 50Nm is always there from third gear and up, regardless of M mode or not
