Me personally I would take the Audi (RS5 Model) same engine, less weight, all weel drive, Revs to 8250 RPM. I agree the Merc is great, has a great engine, but on a track the quattro permanent all-wheel-drive on Audi would grip those corners better and take both BMW and Merc.

As a C63 owner. The grunt, the noise and the comfort is worth the money. There-s never a point when you haven-t got shit loads of power. You get fairly used to the petrol station around your house too-.
