I'd still pick my favorite super estate over this Merc. Hell, until recently it was my favorite single car to own, period. Of course I'm referring to the -slower- Audi RS6 Avant. RS6 is a perfection as far as I'm concerned, but since we're in the era of a massive change, meaning transferring from ICE to EV cars, my new ultimate single car to own would be the Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo Turbo S. Although I have no doubt that Audi, who's definitely the king of super estates, will churn out something spectacular in the EV universe, concerning estate/shooting brake style of cars. Maybe even the next gen RS6 becomes the fully electric vehicle. Now that would be something to be excited about.

The back and especially the tail lights of the sedan look extremely good. But it surprises me that most people don't like the new front. It looks less brutal and less aggressive than before, yes. But certainly more elegant and less -exaggerated-. And honestly, an E-Class should be elegant in the first place. Even the E63. If you want a car looking like a beast, go for the RS6. Mercedes doesn't need to copy that.

They usually criticize a Mercedes in commentes those who will never have it, the engineer made it, you have greater knowledge than engineers. There's not a bad car today, and they all have technology, they're just different commercial targets. For fools there will always be arguments that are best for the car, and it's always the best new vehicle.

Mercedes should do a better job differentiating the 53 from the 63. It's like if the M550i looked exactly like the M5, or S6 to RS6. Top of the range model should be different to make it stand out from the rest.

I don't understand what makes these cars so expensive when the rate of breakdowns and engine failures are so high. Audi, BMW, and Mercedes are so unreliable and so expensive to repair.
