so all those cars that gained recognition like lambos and the rest this car is fater than most of em the porsche car wasnt or isnt really my type but this 911 and turbo gt got my mind thinking cause turbo gt could beat a lambo urus as well as this 911 can beat a huracan and adventador. The launch on this is insane plus the gear switching is fast asf broo well done to porsche andall porche stock cars i have seenare so silent but when it cmes to the race it beats all those loud cars

BEV are usually weaker at higher speed. Except for that, it is just a matter of torque vs weight, and from a quick read on the initial minutes, the petrol car has a better torque to weight ratio. OTOH, the electric engine has an almost flat torque to rpm curve, while the petrol car only produces max torque after you reach a certain RPM. Also, Porsche, unlike most BEV, has a 2-speed gearbox on the rear electric engine.

hey Matt, you complain about noise regulations, but you know very well who you gotta blame, we all have seen videos of assholes reving straight piped supercars in the middle of a crowded city center annoying everyones life. The Taycan is a beautiful design, but the headlights looks like something that was just stuck in there! They have no flow with the rest of the chassis, the bonnet, front or anything -- Porsche: You guys can do better.

Im not sure about Porsche but for Audi's you can press and hold the esc button down for 5 seconds and it will disable the ESC and soft limiter. Might be worth a try. Doubt you'll read this comment, but also worth a shot lol

Petrol will never be the past. Lose all driving experience with electric, just takes the fun out of it, at the point if ever electric is the only thing you can buy I'll just let the wife drive everywhere.

I would buy neither of these Porsche's. If I had to choose, I would buy a Panamera, then a 911 (because it would be fun, and then maybe a Cayenne! Yeah, I would buy a SUV (which I hate) over the Taycan!
