I'm tired of this forced comparison between these two cars. The Polestar 2 was intended to be a competitor to European cars, not the Model 3. The automotive press is obsessed with finding so-called -Model 3 or Model Y killers- so they keep up with these contrived and forced comparisons. The Polestar 2 is an entry level to an expensive line of cars, Polestar. Polestar is a performance company that took tame and sane Volvos and tuned them to be performance cars. That is exactly what this is. It's a hybrid platform car intended to be a Volvo sedan that went to Polestar to be used as an entry-level, sane, performance car. While Matt may not like its more grown-up approach to handling, other reviewers have taken it on canyon roads and have enjoyed its high level of grip and composure on twisty roads. It's also intended to use some -sustainable- materials inside so they're trying some out and will go with customer feedback on what works best. But the build quality of this car is Volvo solid and Matt admits it when saying its parts don't move around over bumps as what happens in the Tesla. That's what build quality is, not how much Matt likes the materials or not. The Polestar is not a gee-whiz tech filled machine line the Model 3, it wasn't made for that purpose. So, find another sedan to be your -Model 3- killer and let Polestar be Polestar (basically, like Volvo but more performance oriented. Polestar and Tesla have different priorities as car makers. Both do what they intend to do well and I kind of leave it at that.

Love this review, was entertained the whole way though. Now on to my back ground and a few questions. I owned a Volvo C30 for 9yrs and loved it. The back seat was surprisingly roomy, the acceleration was amazing and I loved the suspension on it. I really can live without the sports package, will that dampen my day, will the default suspension feel to loose for me knowing I liked the c30 suspension. I have been eagerly waiting for an electric vehicle from Volvo and am elated to find this but is it worth the price tag?

I don't understand why GB builds their cars w/ right hand drive. 90%+ people are right handed, so having to use your left hand to do everything from shifting a manual transmission to working the interior controls seems counter-intuitive. It seems like the early developers a hundred years ago would have thought, -hmmm. this doesn't feel right. - and switched sides to match the US and most other countries before they got too invested in driving on the wrong side of the road.

Well thank you for the presentation. I decided today to swap my Tesla Model 3 Long Range with the Polestar 2 Long Range. But after seeing this, I actually decide not to accept the Polestar 2. This is due to that the Polestar is so old fashioned that they dont have Apple solution. So yes, as a Apple Fanboy - you actually make it to let me decide not to take the Polestar 2 this time: )

This car is ugly. I like the back of it. Comparison to Tesla S, this is comparison to Tesla X. This and the Tesla X are ugly. If compared to Nio, this EV and Tesla X car looks like a fecal next to it. But I'd buy the stock of this company, where they have real sales. The logo by the way looks like the Chinese EV car too, the Xpeng. It has a good looking EV car designed.

Im sure that the Mk3 will be better. Im talking about the presentation (courtesy of amateur night productions) not the car, which, luckily, almost sells itself.
'Hey google' Any professional presenters out there? Qualifications must include having a closed mind to every other operating systems. and turning car features on and off with a cleaning cloth. Doh.

Damn bro you would be the last person I would get to review my car if I had a car company you just too grabby and hyper and all over the place you look like you're ready to break stuff off the car. Not Cool. Honestly after watching you you make me not want to buy the car

18: 19 - I mean, that's an Audi driver so, with a few exceptions, that's a truism! ;-); -)
19: 22 Again.
That car kept turning up at random times so it was probably a companion car or the video was reassembled out of order.
In any case, good review! :-)

Bought a Tesla! I did test drive almost all electro vehicles. Driving a Tesla is like living in the future. The whole experience driving a Tesla is light years ahead of the competition. No comparison! I fell immediately in love and ordered my Tesla!
