New Honda Jazz 2021 review: it WILL surprise you!

This is the Honda Jazz! It's an all-new model of Honda's small hatchback, and it's received upgrades across both the exterior and interior! Sure, the changes aren't HUGE, but as with any small car when a new model is launched, you can probably guess where most of the changes will be made. However, there's one change you may not have been expecting - the new Jazz is only available as a hybrid! For us UK viewers, you-ll only have the one engine to choose from - a 1. 5-litre petrol engine along with two electric motors, producing 109hp and a claimed economy of 61mpg! But with a rather large price of -19, 000 for this rather small car, is the new Jazz the standout little legend of 2020? You-ll have to join Mat for his latest review and find out!

The Honda Jazz is being discontinued in Australia and being replaced by the Honda City Hatch so we won't be able to get his one in Oz. I owned a 2005 1. 5 Jazz auto (not a CVT fan) but it was a nice little car and I drove it around Australia in 2006 (almost 25000 miles. My sister owns a 2010 Vibe manual. A bit gutless with the 1. 3 in my opinion. You could drive my car as a 7 speed manual or in S mode it kept the revved to 2500 rpm for a SLIGHTLY sportier drive. Overall it was pretty good but that trip got me into travelling and I bought a 1987 VW Transporter which was fitted out by a well known Aussie campervan conversion company with solar and all the goodies. No toilet or shower of course. Bought this one for $22, 500 and sold it two years later for $29, 000. I fitted out a 2008VW Caddy Maxi 1. 9 diesel Manual for $40, 000 all up

This car should be dropped. I know car manufacturers can't choose who buys their cars but this one's brand damaging.
Worst drivers on the planet own this particular vehicle, closely followed by the Suzuki Swift brigade (a contradiction if I've ever seen one.
40 mph everywhere with the reaction times of a sloth? Drive this! Never seen one where I don't want to get infront of the 5 mile tailback and run them off the damn road. and I'm a calm person

We were considering the Honda Fit and Suzuki Swift. Despite the interior of the Fit being a lot nicer and having slightly better features, the design is honestly what called it for us. The nose of the car just looks very off-putting.
And looking at the comments here, no it's a -grill is too small- issue. It just looks like a mouth with underbite. The Swift on the other hand just has that alternative Mini style that is just appealing.

On my 2nd Jazz and both are one of my favourite cars. Pleasure to drive and extremely well designed inside; an extremely practical and trouble-free car. Unfortunately I'm looking for a straight electric but I'd be more than willing to pay my local Honda Jazz garage to take mine into its workshop and fit the necessary batteries and electric kit for a full conversion. Strangely they're not advertising this capability.

Hondas are such brilliant cars but hopefully they'll soon replace the head of exterior design because for some years now both the Jazz and the Civic look hideously. I don't even care that much about how my car looks, but these designs are just nonsensical!
Edit: I just remembered how amazing the Honda e looks like, which makes it even more annoying that their most affordable cars look like garbage!

Such a disgraceful set of insults against older people. Why is this allowed, as there are anti-discrimination laws against senior people in UK? This clown who is dressed like a school boy in shorts, rambles on in nervous inchoative regional English. Who would choose such a person to present a car show! Just listening to him is stressful, never mind his weird behaviour and insults to senior citizens!

Going to be ordering my SIXTH Jazz very soon. Love 'em! So roomy and comfortable. Only one minor gripe - the 'stop start' feature in my present one only seems to work when it feels like it but I can live with that. The only reason I-m going to have no. 6 is because being disabled, I have Motability cars and the lease on them is 3 yrs. so they-re changed at that time.

Made some good points but change the Arogant presenter his foul mouth for someone who doesn't think they are funnier than actually are. Puts us off using Carwow. Shame - it could have been a good review. Clever car in the vein of previous reliable Jazz models but the odd face not as cute as past Jazz or new Honda e look and it odds with the styling of the rear.

Honda again started the bad ass Japanese looks for there cars not like previous sporty models(GP5 -. I am pretty sure they will not hit market like it previous model(GP5. People also like the look as well as options. That is the reason I buy Honda from recently by kicking choice of Toyota. Now I have to reconsider again-

Another great review from Mat Watson! Do I agree with your verdict? Yes. Would I buy one? No. I borrowed my father's earlier mark I version to commute to work. A very practical car indeed. Very hard ride. Nice high seats for the elderly. It was like commuting to work by bus but having to drive the bus yourself.
