I just got my new M440ix in a special order green. You did give the car a nice review but you left a few things out. I bought the car fully loaded and it is one fun fast car to drive. We also own the new 330i and have driven nothing but BMW for 20 years so big fans. I bought the $1, 500 tire upgrade which gives it a better ride and less noise. The package also gives extra cooling to drive at high speeds in hot temperatures. They give you an electric pump that will inflate and seal the tire if you get a flat. You didn-t talk about the ventilated seats which I love in the car and can be activated by the voice control. The reason it didn-t work is that you have to say Hello BMW and then tell it what you want. It-s so much better then previous systems. You can change the recognition command to anything you want but that is how the system knows you want her to work and do something. The car also has remote start and lock. Also the lights are laser lights if you upgrade and well worth it. It has an option for the system to learn how you drive and it will help with the handling of the car keeping it more leveled. I know many talk about the grill which I don-t have the front license plate on it but I love the look. Also I get stopped every time I take the car out by people telling me how hot the car is and its the grill that they notice and love. I also like that i can just use the credit card as the key and I don-t have to carry keys anymore.

Matt, you-re always raving about big storage size in the door for a bottle. I drove a M440i x drive today; I hated them! They were continually pinching my lower left side of my leg (left hand drive car) during a long journey. Glad I drive a car we-re a big bottle doesn-t fit. But nice car, especially the engine in sports mode is epic.

Obviously an Audi fan. Last time I drove an Audi it was worse than driving a cortina. Audi is nothing more than A VW with a more expensive badge. A BMW starts life as a BMW and gets delivered a BMW. Not a skoda VW Audi or Seat. It's a prestige car

I also have the lumbar support and heated steering wheel, but not the automatic close trunk, so I don't think they're part of the same pkg.
Maybe US vs UK standard/pkgs are different?

Nice design!
I would actually consider buying a BMW, if it wasn't the trademark car of Turkish wannabe-rich street cowboys racing on the streets with their louder modded exhausts and crappy music blasting everyone in a 1km radius.

From someone who owns a vehicle with a heated steering wheel. WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT THAT? It's better than heated seats. Also I rented a 2021 430i convertible a few weeks ago. Great car and the grill looked really sporty in person.

I bought a 420D M sport Plus with tech plus pack. I like it as much as the 840D. Simply brilliant. Comfortable, fast, quiet, looks stunning ( my mate thought it was the 8 series). and 60mpg / 600mile range from a 65L tank.

I've come to the conclusion that ALL current generations of car's look crap, i think lockdown has affected peoples eyesight as well as health. Previous models look better they just do.
