In my twenties and thirties - in the 70s and 80s - I had all sorts of cars ranging from Ford Cortinas to various proper sports cars and even a Healey 3000 and they were basically cheap. I can understand maybe the Healey appreciating but was amazed to find Cortinas are now hot property. But you can't beat being twenty something in a sports car, and especially back then before political correctness. Girls would simply get into the sports cars uninvited, none got into the Cortinas though lol. Fascinating how much some cars are going for now.

Note: -
there are cars more expensive than the 37M ferrari. some cars just change owners in the private market and there is speculation about the price that some were sold. For example the 250 gto Grigio Metallizzato with a yellow stripe on the hood that finished lemans in fourth place in 1963, won the tourdefrance in 1964 in addition to other events that the car also participated in. it is estimated that the car sold for 52 million euros in 2018

Any motorabilia connection to Steve McQueen (the 917)just adds zeros to the price, a testament to the man's unsurpassed enduring legend that even those with seemingly everything, yearn for a piece of it at any cost. Its something just to own a 917, but that 917 in particular, I'd be willing to bet that everybody who has sat in that car since has got the 'fizz'! -

You know what's completely bonkers, that we live in a world where some people have so much money that they can spend tens of millions of pounds on a car at auction, while in other parts of the world, children are literally dying from hunger. That's pure insanity if you ask me, but who cares, right, as long as we have what we want and need, who cares!

You mentioned the cars that have been sold in auction. There is also cars that have been sold with undisclosed sums of money or via private purchases you could make a video on that.
A Bugatti Type32c Atlantis sold for -35M$ est.
A 250 GTO Tour De France sold for -70M$

Not sure but I think you might have missed a trick by not mentioning auto union, I think a couple of those have sold in the multiple of millions, and also their has been some very expensive Talbot's and lancias, but not sure, maybe someone out there has some information.

Fun fact: Jaguar xj13 was 3 times more valuable than Ferrari 250 gto when it was sold in 1996. So in theory Jaguar xj13 is the most valuable car in the world, but we can't get exact value cause there only 1 car in the world and it was last time sold in 1996.

Can you review the Lexus NX petrol because I have seen a lot of them on the streets and seem like they are a great contender to the GLC, X3 and others cars like them. It just seems like a worthy review idea
