This car is everything I would ever want in a car like this. The power, the price, the engine placement, the storage space. It just gets better as the review goes on. The only problem with it (apart from it only being trully cheap in America: ( ) is that it feels like its an imitation of a mid-engined sportscar. I dont know why exactly, something about the exterior makes me think -Wow, it looks like a briliant concept / stage car, I wish they really made them-. but then, it actually IS the production car. Its the weirdest thing, but I cant shake that feeling when seeing it.

Nothing better than a limey reviewing the Corvette. Have you reviewed your precious Jaguar? Talk about expensive junk. The Corvette has been the best performance for price sports car for decades. 911 are ugly as hell they haven-t changed the body style since the 1960-s. Yea you limeys should stick to Jaguars and Porsche-s. Nothing looks better and sounds better than a good ole American V8.

Is this seriously the best automotive authority Britain has to offer? Can clearly see on the tachometer the car is redline limited to 4, 500 rpm's for the break-in cycle. You could see him struggling to find any negatives he could. It pains him to admit yes the car is just that good and rivals anything out of Europe for a fraction of the price.

My brother in law is a dealer principle here in Aus for a dealership that sell these. He brought one home and let me have my way with it for a bit and let me tell you, this car for the price, is unbelievable! Proper supercar without the supercar price tag. What he can sell me one for would the same price as an rs5 brand new in Australia.

Great car for its price but if you are paying anywhere near 100k$ on this, just get a dodge challenger because it looks better and generally its just a better car regardless of the speed difference since i dont suppose anyone here will drive these cars to the limit for the little speed difference to matter.

Entry level Corvette is about balance not brutal acceleration.
There are other models for that.
11 second car is more than 90% of people need on the street.
11 sec normally aspirated walks the line between good streetability and performance.
Want faster get the supercharged version.

Broken in, Z51 package, roof up and launch control you will regularly achieve 2. 7-2. 9 0-60 tomes. Especially the limited C8. R with carbon aero package. There are no $60K vehicles either. LT3 top spec and -required- extras plus convertible push this over $100k. Still a US bargain!

Can't wait for you to be able to test drive the new C8 Z06 when you get it there in the UK. it is 670 bhp N/A Flatplane 5. 5 liters, (most powerful N/A V8 ever in a production car) sounds like a Ferrari 458, 0-60 in 2. 6 secs, and a Nurburgring time of well below 7 secs.

Americans can-t make cars that compete with Europe and it-s as simple as that. Much like their house that are normally made out of wood and plasterboard (which is why they are cheap) their cars are made for straight roads and the build quality is poor.

0: 21 apple pie as we know it first originated in England, where it developed from culinary influences from France, the Netherlands, and even the Ottoman Empire. In fact, apple trees weren't even native to North America until the Europeans arrived.
