Hyundai Tucson 2021 review - see how many other cars it copies

This is the new Hyundai Tucson! Hyundai-s updated SUV is designed to go head-to-head with the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Karoq & SEAT Ateca. The question is, when there-s so much choice in the SUV market already, does the new Tucson offer enough to stand out from the crowd? The biggest (and best) changes to the design compared to the old model can be found inside the cabin, where an updated -swooping- effect runs across the dash. There's also a new infotainment system and layout. When it comes to performance, the only engine available is a 1. 6-litre petrol. And while the range kicks off with the ability to produce 150hp, the range-topper is a hybrid edition, which combined with an electric motor to produce 230hp! But let-s face it, you won-t be bothered about going too fast if you-re choosing a Tucson, will you? You want to ensure you-re getting enough interior space & quality for your money! So are you? You-ll have to stick with Mat to find out

What a disappointing review. I use CarWow for my car purchases and managed 13. 2% off a Tucson N-line S (panoramic sunroof model. Ignoring Matt's review, I went and test drove one; it was amazing, smooth, quiet, and pretty fast. On a spirited test drive I achieved 46mpg with a mixture of town and dual carriageway driving. It's beautifully put together and the styling is near enough unique. There was nothing wrong with the brakes and I didn't think the suspension was hard. The gearbox was seamless and there was no lag on accelerating hard. Yhe turning circle is impressive for what is now a sizeable SUV. My experience completely contradicts Matt's somewhat biased review. Can't wait for mine to be delivered in January 2022/

I think this review was a bit biased. This hyundai is a whole packagle
-looks great inside and out
-material quality is great, interior feels posh
-most spacious in the class
-has 4wd option
-warranty is great
-transmission and motor is great
-drives balanced and good
-hyundai is like toyota, last ages, super reliable but has also great/modern cabin
This car is the best all rounder in this class right now. Calling it copying other manufacturer-s design and only -consider- part is %100 bias.

Didn't mention about the possibility of a semi-automatic with paddle-shift, that's available in other similar cars. Also would have liked to know a bit more about the hybrid system and how it works, ie, shifting from Petrol to Electric and vice-versa. And it's range with MPG equivalent. Still a decent video, even with the negative reactions to the styling, which imo is Kool! Much better than some, more expensive and well known brands who've forgotten about the outside of their vehicular designs!

Listen people, if you don-t like the reviews, don-t watch but don-t be so horrible about Matt who is just doing his job.
I appreciate his reviews because I-m currently looking for a suv and I like to hear what-s good and bad about each car.
It-s up to every individual which car to buy even if they hear something they don-t like but please be kind and stop hating on this guy.
I think he-s a very lovely and funny guy and makes me smile -

I have always watched Matt's reviews & have a ways valued his opinion but on this one he has just gone so far wide of the mark it's not true. Copies other vehicles? It' one of the most unique cars on the road. I have the hybrid ultimate & the amount of kit you get for the money is unbelievable. Fantastic value & great to drive - it has also just won Carbuyer best family car, best hybrid & overall best car 2022!

Ok it wasn't just me thinking he was being harsh lol. The Tuscon has a feature that let's you see your blind spot not seen that on any other car. Its got a 360 camera and aremote parking feature. Didn't really mention ant of that. I know they have the Ioniq 5 but I think Hyundai should have brought out a full EV version of the Tucson. I really like the new front not seem anything like it really stands out.

All good sound design, but unfortunately Hyundai seem to be falling into the same trap Honda just managed to get out of. That being the school of excessive styling, and the introduction of panel lines and body creases for the sake of it. A good car for all that though. It will be well built, and is unlikely to let you down. It might not be as cool as a Peugeot 3008 Matt, but it won't go wrong as often either.

I'm with him on the ugly looks of the car. (Just to add some balance to these comments
) I saw this car first on a google image search and under my breath said 'That's horrendous. ' I watched this video to see if there was anything special about the car that would make up for it's mixed bag looks. There isn't. Reminds me of the Ford Scorpio overall strangely. I'll be getting the 2022 Tiguan R Line Hybrid.

This is just a bad baaad review- I always enjoyed Matt-s reviews on Carwow, but how he nitpicked every bad thing he can think of is just too petty to watch- not to mention how he handles the overall vehicle-. Even if it's a press car doesn-t mean you can throw around parts like five years old- Matt, this was such a bad review, and I felt so uncomfortable to watch- plus so unprofessional--------

I do usually enjoy Matt's reviews but he really trashed this beautiful SUV with no real good reason. I think its as good as the Seat and Kia and other SUV's in the same price range. I myself will be picking one up in 2 weeks on a 6 month subscription and this review has made me even more excited about the car collection day! Sorry Matt you've had a bad day at the office mate on this one.
