The -MN- in -GRMN- stands for -Meister of Nurburgring-, which is a way of paying tribute to TGR-s test drivers who have developed the products on the legendary German circuit. These would include Hiromu Naruse, the company-s chief test driver and head of GAZOO Racing who died in a crash in Germany in 2010. Naruse was Toyoda-s mentor in racing and whom Toyoda was asked to replace as -Master Driver- of Toyota and Lexus.

Why u in love with yaris soo much! Ahhhh. You keep comparing this little toad with others. Anyways, my request why don-t you race classic cars too. Like 450sel 6. 9 with others of their time. Sorry I am requesting coz I own a 6. 9 merc in Pakistan and would love to see what it was than. I bet it can thrash your Yaris from 50mph. Lol

I am really confused about the level of Toyota GR. I guess that GRMN is the top, and then the GR, and the GR Sport, the last is GR parts. But why they give a better performance to the second level which beat the top in everywhere according to the video?

Need to run a 290hp 2. 5L Sonata NLine against some other comparable cars. Do they have that car in the UK? 0-60 5. 0 sec, mid to low 13 sec 1/4 mile. Just need to launch the car properly, it-s tricky since it-s FWD and no LSD.

this is a very important video with vital information, I am trying to see rather I should pour my entire bank into the GRMN or sell my kidney for the GR Yaris, now this large piece of the puzzle is now settled! thanks, Carwow.

Is toyota gonna stick GR badges from now on in every cars? It's a good thing as well as a negetive thing. we want GR to be special than TRD badges. we want things like GR yaris more and not things like Camry TRD

Its nice to finally see the. GRMN YARIS wirh the 1. 8 supercharged engine instead of the 1. 5 forced induction motor of the past. Both are fantastic vehicles!
I wish they offered these cars in the US!

I'd like to see some comparison GR sport vs. convenience to finally end this silly argument how desperately you need those LSDs when in reality few people understand what that really means.

Man, I wish they sold either of those in the US. Honestly the Yaris GRMN would probably be more fun to run at the limit on a track with that rev happier SC I4. Too bad I'll never know -

I really like the GR Yaris, but I prefer my GRMN. A supercharged, excentric and pretty obscure little rocket. Even though it might be a bit slower, it is such a brutal little car.
