This kind of cars are utterly idiotic and useless for the standard day to day driving and usage. They should make them more modular and accident efficient not glossy and whatever kind of integrated lights and galss on the exterior. Realistically driving a car like this on public roads will ruin them very easily. There will be small rocks and parts hitting the front ends as you drive, if someone scratches or reverses into your front end of the car, you are in a world of hurt replacing those front ends with glass and LED's inside them. They look great, but only for a miniature held on your desk. I would never buy such sensitive cars. And good luck with the insurances when someone else hits you in traffic. But thank you for presenting them: D

Please do tell me about this, (if you have the time to reply): - The doors are so nice on the new cars. Yet I am worried, how will you get out in a normal, and let's face it cramped car park, it look like you will need 1 meter clear space?
I would worry parking by the side of a road, and have cars take the door off!
I worry about my mirrors as it is; and yet the doors are massive.
However nice they are, could one slide out of a small gap? or do we need to park in a field?

I like your reviews. However, why do you still speak in miles, could you at least provide the kilometers. (only three countries in the world still officially use the imperial system: USA, Myanmar and Liberia. The UK, officially does not use miles. I have no problem that you use miles (each time I have to use a calculator to translate to kilometers) if you also provide the same in kilometers. As a continental, I do not relate to miles at all.

Now go to a place with -20 C temps and see what happens. We delivered a Tesla Model 3 from Calgary to Edmonton, Alberta, Kanada (269 km. according to GPS) yesterday in temps ranging from -21 to -23 C. Range was reduced from an indicated 300 km+ to less than 150 km. real world in the cold. -30 or -40 C temps would result in significantly less than 1/2 indicated initial range. Did someone design this car in San Diego or something? :)

By the end of the decade there will be huge dumps of depleted, dead batteries and junk yards crammed with clapped out EVs. It's not the way forward and they are, despite the bilge from the makers, totally impractical with pathetically small ranges. It'll be so much fun standing for hours at a charging point to get you going again. Nothing dates so quickly as a vision of the future.

remember my words and me, companies and government push for electric car sales knowing all too well that it is a flop system, the ultimate electric car will be the hydrogen fuel cell but before that they will want to sell trillions in cars that will be come useless in 5 years and repeat the same exercise with hydrogen fuel cell, keeping the economy alive.

I have adult ADD. It's not a big problem since I learned to speed read. Watching/listening to Watson I had to step up my game. I now speed see and speed listen. It's a new skill but I can honestly say that I can finally keep up with him. He doesn't waste his time or mine. I think he's an interesting good soul. God speed to you Watson! Enjoyed your show!

No offence to anyone going green, but are all electric cars going to look shit. Never thought best car of a motor show would be a bloody Dacia, only because it's still petrol. Classic car shows, will be no more. Might as well just catch bus, and infact if all cars go self-driven, that'll be bus driver's out of a job too.

I'm actually quite shocked how many manufacturers are betting everything on EV's, with only one or two ICE cars on show. Sure, this is about showing off future vehicles, but current battery tech is so old when the next wave actually appears (5 years or so, everything here will be considered archaic.

An all electric Renault Megane. What could go wrong? Do the door pockets still fill up with rain water? - The Mercedes and Smart cars with rear doors opening the other way, I am wondering how they fair in side impact tests? I'll be disappointed if the Wey Coffee 01 can't fire up an espresso!
