the only good thing about the kia EV is. that it is silent so we can hear the ferrari. Let me say one thing: in every movie i hate the way the girl is counting the start. The time between every number is different: (exaggerated): three. two. one three. two. one. etc. and there is no go. it should be consistent: three, two, one, go. Almost in every movie in every start there are cars who move while the other one still wait. The starting procedure needs to be changed for the better.

I see what you are trying to do with this (boring) modern family EV vs old supercar, but 99% of EV6 drivers is never gonna drive their car like that (100% throttle for so long) unlike many Ferrari drivers. Even if it was faster, the F355 will always be a much cooler and more enjoyable car to drive, like any traditional sports car with petrol engine really. The lack of sound and feel makes EV's soulless cars. Just transportation, nothing more.

Love the EV6 buy like most electric cars it really does bottom out somewhere between 70 and 100 mph. For the non performance version it's still pretty exciting off the line around in cities and what not, but I wouldn't get into any races on the highways where everyone's already going 65+. The power just ain't in it at those ranges. Excited to see what the GT model will do to the midrange (roll race) performance of the car.

Love the design of the Ferrari F355. It is a beautiful sports car. But even in its heyday it could only post 14 second 1/4 mile times. Drag racing it against any modern car, whether EV or internal combustion proves little. Many modern grocery getters like Kia's K5 GT (stock) can now run a 1/4 mile in 13. 7. This video does not prove how spectacular an EV6 is, but rather how far performance has increased over decades.

And who can refuel quicker? UHM! I for one do not feel like sitting around growing old while I put a few hundred miles in my tank, thankyou. Good vid, like from me. but electric vehicles currently overpriced, to heavy, take to long to charge and a lack of charging infrastructure.

ferrari has like 250hp/t and 220hp/t at wheels which is still a lot better then kia s 160hp/t, while in a gear and not form standstill when the power available exceeds grip and you can see it s also faster but not by much Kia seems well optimised for a single speed.

I can t believe government s around the world are making us go electric. Electric cars suck, and DEFINITELY aren t environmentally more friendly than combustion engines. Where do you think the power has to come to power these horrendous cars?

That Ferrari used to be my dream car. I had a 1: 24 model of one as a kid and I always thought it was the coolest. This race was honestly all about the gear changes once he got those figured out the Kia didn t have a hope in hell
