Yes, this is really happening! Mat-s got his hands on the brand-new Mercedes-AMG F1 W13 E Performance ahead of this weekend-s Bahrain Grand Prix, and he-s giving us a first-look at Mercedes- challenger for the 2022 F1 Season! Let's take a look at the stats. This W13 is powered by a 1. 6-litre turbo V6 hybrid engine that produces a whopping 1, 000hp and can do 0-60mph in just 2. 5 seconds! As well as being completely different to last year's W12 thanks to the 2022 rule changes, with only two parts being carried over from the 2021 car, this W13 is also 43kg heavier than the W12, weighing in at 795kg. which is still half the weight of an AMG A45 S! So, will this new W13 be a World Championship-winning car? Stick with Mat to find out!

3: 51 The purpose of the ripples is to create vortices going around the floor, sealing it and keeping the air outside the car from being sucked in. This works the same way that the side skirts in the late-70s/early-80s cars worked, decreasing the pressure under the car and thereby increasing downforce.

It's really not worth it. No air conditioning, no cargo space, u need help to properly get in the car, and just have a really exaggerated price.
Only valuable if u are a collector, but even this car isn't worth it - it's not the car that they are using!
I would take a prius prime over this: /

Max: I got a 50k fine for touching the rear wing
Vettel: I opt to touch the front wing instead (for 25k)
But I was forbade
Matt Watson: yeah mate. I leaned on the car. Reviewed it, touched it. And even talked about it's budget. All bcus I am Matt Watson from Carwow.

Hey Matt. Next in line is the safety car. I will never forget the comment you made when you first saw that car. - Is lk Merc didn't know which wing to use. So they just put all of them on that car---
Don't forget drag race them both. And sound check. Braking. Rolling start.

1000 bhp and barely 300-310 on the straights. Highest I saw was from RB and that was around 325ish. Only a few years ago, Bottas at Williams managed to go over 360kmh at Monza. So the newer cars get slower on the straights due to that massive downforce.

Hey Matt,
Just to let you know I-ve always enjoyed watching your VDOs, this particular vdo was fantastic and cracking with your jokes - keep it up buddy.
You get double thumbs up for your humour and efforts for break check comments.

The best car in the world isn-t going to be an F1 car - no room passengers, no storage space, needs someone at the back to start the engine, not road legal, restricted by F1 rules on chassis, engine and weight.

As a Lewis and MB F1 fan, I appreciate the brake check reference because we all know that-s what it was. I only want Max to do us all a favor and keep that same energy this season. Karma is real.
