I couldn-t care less about the endless focus on acceleration of electric cars (yes, they are amazingly quick due to the immediate response and full access to all the power. If the future is supposed to be batteries, batteries and batteries, I want lots of range (think Lucid Air and then some, good build quality, reasonable price and quick charging.
Particularly since the Musk- worshippers and other battery fundamentalists do not want to even hear talk about hydrogen electric cars.

When I got to the Renault bit I fast forwarded then I saw the Renault 5 so rewinded to c what that was about it n by the end, would actually strongly consider getting one, it looks soo cool and just like the original Renault 5 it brings back memories of our old one-. But French and electrics have never been best of friends saying that if they can sort this out I-m really up for getting one (can-t believe I-m saying this coz I-m a combustion engine guy through and through)

New models look amazing especially Audi avante. But all these European cars still based on ICE replacement not new disruptive engineering from ground up. Several issues: most don't have multi supplier battery arrangements(look at Toyota problems & they are serious non ev players, & why estate/sedans models? It's SUV or nothing. Old pommie colonel blimps have sedan hot flushes.

Yes! Good looking estates continue to be made. I've always had a penchant for the german estate cars, a sort of fastback design but with extra practicality and can look absolutely stealth when dropped with good wheels. I'd remove those over designed rear diffusers though, but the rest of the rear and sweeping side lines look slick

I'm impressed with the design of the Cupra Tavascan and also surprised, mainly because I've not been a fan of the Seat and Cupra design language and yet I really like this despite it evolving the current design cues. The A6 looks nice, as all Audi Avants do, but I think there are nicer looking estate profiles.

Well, after watching the video I don't think fast charging (- 20min) will matter as there will be queues on charging stations and waiting times will increase tenfold. Also many chargers will be broken. So this el car bandwagon is a bit of a bubble I guess.

It Looks Not Bad But I do like the Design From now More. And I do not like E - Cars. Its just Not better for the Climate and it-s way More useless. The Loading Time, the Batterie That is going Empty in the Cold itself and More. Hydrogen is better

Why is it that 20 years later, and there are still barely any electric cars with > 300mile range? And the 2 that actually travel 300 miles cost > $65KUSD. Kia and Huyundai EVs cost $40K with 220 mile range? These things are a joke

I was surprised to find how much and many of these car-s design pleased me; form following function beautifully. Better range, good looking and practical interiors. I thought the Alfa was really tops with those front eyes.

Tavascan looks quite good and price will be more afordable than that nice Audi so that or R5 if it has at least 250 miles range but the Tavascan has everything, the range, the design, the tech. Ummm interesting future. -
