This is a good (to me that's well matched cars) race because
firstly, HP per tonne is very similar (as mentioned by others already)
But also crucially despite being turbo the macca engine has the max power develop only in a peaky manner right near the top of the rev range like the NA Ferrari.
Usually (presumably for the sake of simplicity) only the max torque/max power figure is quoted but some engines have a much bigger range of torque (e. g. turbo S) so those two figures alone don't tell the whole story. Hence this is why cars seemingly matched by power or even power /tonne in drag races aren't often close to watch at all. The extreme case of this is of course electric cars which have torque at zero revs and thus the regular matchup based on power are extremely difficult to do against ICE cars.

I'd like to see a drag race that didn't involve idiotic drag racing but instead had cars driving and turning bl--dy corners and doing things that real cars do. Handling. Dynamics. Going really, really fast in a straight line is a pitiful display of willy waving for inadequate juveniles.
So please, let's see some actual driving, which is what sports cars are designed and built for.
Now, go and park in the Naughty Corner and think about what you've done, young man. (-)

Carwow, I would kindly suggest that y-all invest in a drone. It will not only help film the cars in a better angle but it will make every thing alot smoother & more efficient that the side cameras. Also it will help us see the actual speed difference from cars. Please do consider

Well the Ferrari won all the real world test, 0-60 is pointless as car can be geared just to get there in the best time, same with any car, driving on public roads and you want to overtake another car is where the 50-70 times are very useful.

They should go for the 4 th run. It's clear that the Ferrari didn't have a good launch on the third run it was clear. It's unfair they should allow for another chance. I'm defending the 812 rather than this is the reality!

My 600lt performed well, I also have a 812SF and they are barely comparable in real world use. The 600lt, corner to corner on B roads, is the quickest thing I own by some distance.
