Just like your defender vids you cannot do a tug of war fairly. If there is any height difference in the rope/strap the car that has the rope/strap mounted higher will always win. The reason being is because the lower vehicle is effectively pulling and forcing the higher vehicle into the ground so it's back tyres get loads of grip, in turn the lower vehicle is having the weight lifted off its rear tyres. You need to mount the rope at the same exact height for it to be fair Mat. You've been told this before, I seen loads of comments from actual green laners in your older vids telling you this.

I got one of those, almost. Its the industrial version of the 165, the MF30. And abnout the same worn out rear tires. (and stuck clutch)
Also a got a newer 4x4 MF, and i bet you couldn't move that with 4 of the Fords, as long it can get the tires 3-5 cm dug into the ground, on grass. Anywhere else i would drive off with them even though it got less than 100HP.

Considering that tractor is only 2 WD with only 45hp just goes to show how much low down torque a tractor has that and the huge tires, independent rear brakes and locking diff. Had that been 4 WD that truck would not had any chance. That tractor is about the same size mine only mine has 4 WD, it is quite amazing what I can pull with it.

tractor weighs 1450 kgs, we have one and it tows a two tonne, drop side trailer most weeks. I knew how this was going to end before it started, we also have a Claas Nexos farm tractor 220 F 4WD, would be good to see how that went with say a new Defender V8

Not to be a naggy nancy about this but engineering explained did a great video about why tug of wars are only a measure of which car weighs more. Though this is on dirt so maybe it-s different

The tyres on the tractor are rather worn which wouldn't have helped much. Still not bad for 60+ yo tractor, try it with a current model version with new tyres: )

it's unfair! They brought along an age old tractor and brand new modern cars. If they have GUTS then they should bring an Full size American Tractor.

Never tow a tractor to the back NEVER, it's very very dangerous because of the natural weight distribution of the tractors. always in front of it.
