We've had this car for a few months now in Germany, and I must say, that I'm very happy with the CX-60. I use it as a private car where it also takes a caravan along on holidays. Solely due to the benefits for EV's and PHEV's in Germany, I have the PHEV variant, but otherwise I'd fully go for the diesel since the stability and just the reliability of a diesel is much better than a gasoline vehicle.
Would I recommend this car? For sure, it gives you better value for money than in an Audi. If it was a company car, I'd definitely go for an Audi over the Mazda.

Couple points, the 3 pin plugs are optional, and as much as the spec down is technically a spec down, its not really. The equipment level is the same. Just because it's a little cheaper its identically equipped. I imagine the price differences are the interior materials and the diamond cut wheels. It's also not turbocharged like you said at the end of the video. The engine is NA, like 90% of the other engines in Mazdas. The only turbo engines are the diesels

Mat, I tried to spec' up a Q5 like my full bells-and-whistles Takumi PHEV, but blew past the 90KEUR mark with plenty of boxes left to check- price/kit/performance-wise I couldn't be happier or found better ( no regrets, but I do miss my little red Sandero III, fully specced and bi-fuel, but I got an excellent trade-in.

it would have been a great car, but gearbox, suspension and unfortunately the leather quality is a huge disappointment, after 10. 000km it looks worse, than on my last MB, which had 21years + 300. 000km. i don't get it, huge missed potential, that car had the chance to blew the germans out of the way

Do you have Chery in UK?
They just started selling in eastern Europe and their offer is reeeaalllly attractive (Tiggo8pro, 7 seater comes at 33. 000eur max equipped and seems really good, but would like to see some of the famous reviewers take a look at it)

Matt comparing the noise levels and suspension to luxury cars speaks levels about how upmarket Mazda has moved with their new CX-60. I think these will sell very well for those looking for a more luxurious CX-5, similar to the Lexus NX and Rav4

What took you so long? I bought one 7 weeks ago and now you finally review it! Love the car and if you put it in Off Road mode it will do 0-60 in 5. 2 seconds! Homura with black accents and alloys looks better. Stunning car for the money.

I have one of these, except for the suspension dumping, which can be improved with an specific KONI dumpers and eibach springs the rest of the car works pretty well.
In fact, if you put in off road mode the car will 0-60mph in 5, 2sec!

Holy trinity (Merc, Bimmer, Audi) is nice but the alternative trinity can be very very good, so if you want Merc comfort take the Volvo XC60, if you want Bimmers dynamic take Alfa Stelvio and if you want Audis versatility take the Mazda CX-60

Matt, the car has NO turbocharger as you stated at 16: 17. Its a naturally aspirated 4 cyl, which can be found in the Mazda CX5 aswell. Also there is no regular hybrid, there is only the plugin hybrid and the mild hybrids (diesels.

The middle screen is touch screen for CarPlay or Android Auto. Just not for Mazda menus.
Have had my CX-60 since last September. On the whole I m pleased with it and Sport mode is something that needs to be tried to be believed

This is the similar situation with the pre-facelift Audi Q8, in which you have two obviously fake exhaust tips with the real ones pointing downwards. Since receiving a facelift on September 5th however, this is no longer a case.

Or As good as the Korreans? That enormous chunk of crome in the front is deffinetly better but exactly for that and other chinese market perks it's not even close.
1: 00 100% pure idiocy
8: 20 Suzuki Swift

This is an amazing recipe. Great looks, supposedly super solid drivetrain and a great cabin. A shame that things like the door sound, the comfort or that steering heater just seem a bit half assed.

It is the most beautiful SUV from a Japanese manufacturer and has excellent cost performance in the Japanese market. The interior has a high level of design and texture and is typical of Japan.

Having learned from recent experience, not having exhaust tips exit to outside of bumper, probably helps to reduce repair cost in event of a low speed rear-end accident, reducing insurance cost

I just cannot comprehend why would people buy PHEVs. Mild hybrids are much better than them especially considering you CAN do long journeys without hassle and having to stop to charge.

The quality control is simply not on par with the Europeans sadly. But they're on a fantastic path of improvement, I'm guessing they'll catch up in the near future.

I don't get the exhaust bs. I couldn't have it. I even saw some AMG when driving behind you can see a sad single pipe in some distance to a duplex fake tin.

48. 6 mpg in a huge car like that is pretty good I think for the ICE, especially considering it has to carry the electric drivetrain components along
