Traded in the 2015 Chevy 1500 High County Silverado with the 6. 2L v8 engine today. It's been a GREAT truck. Definitely a better looking rig than the new ones. Considered the Ram and the Silverado, the F150 and the Tundra. Tundra design is reliable, but just too old. Silverado great, but I don't trust modern GM transmission unless its an Allison. Ram, pretty darn great and most lux (amazing touch screen, but power to weight ratio of the F150 and aluminum long term corrosion resistance pushed me to buy the Ford. In 5 years I may wish I had an all steel truck but those aluminum F150 from 2015+ seem to be holding up pretty well. The 3. 5L twin turbo V6 won me over. These are probably all 200K+ mile rigs if you do the maintenance. Probably not a bad option in the bunch!

Dodge is a great truck. But I won't say that for RAM. The new Hemi are horrible. I just replaced my 6. 4 motor with only a 157000 miles on a 2014. It cost me 12000. 00 us dollars. Due to hammering on my cam, due to no back compression on the cylinders that shut down. Due to emissions. I had to replace the whole motor due to contamination and if I didn't I would have no warranty. Thinking I'll stick with the old trucks.

Great car, I just mean. Where I live in Denmark we dont need it, and that is why they sold 0 units last year. Second is fuel econemy. just saying we have the one of the modest prices at the pump in EU, at 1. 4 euros a liter for 95 ron a Ford like this is a no go. If you need space we god a trailer.

I don-t see the appeal of American cars. The seats are massive, low mpg, oversized everything, lots of plastic in then interior, rugged leather, and the wooden trims are eye sores. boxy designs and the engine sounds are anything less than pretty. Just because it-s loud doesn-t mean it sounds good.

Fiat, Fargo, Plymouth. Ram. whatever you want to call this pos, it is still the biggest disaster of a truck ever made. I had one and it was the worst built vehicle I have ever owned. I will never again in my lifetime spend one cent on a Chrysler product. Junk!

Just -Ram- now, owned by Stellantis, a European auto conglomerate formed in January 2021 with the merger of Fiat Chrysler and a French company, the PSA group. Oh yes, what an -American- truck.

As a Brit in Palm Springs California, I agree that the big trucks are in a league of their own for power and luxury. RV travel has brought them upscale and that's the real benefit of the giants
