How to Replace your Air Filter

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Learn how to replace the engine air filter in your car. The truck used in the video is a 2001 Mazda B3000 aka Ford Ranger. This process will be similar on most cars and trucks. In this case no tools were needed. Sometimes you might need a screw driver. An air filter should be replaced every 30-50k miles based on how you use your car. Hey Chris I got a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder sv I recently changed my oil and went to replace my air filter. Im having trouble reconnecting the top of the air filter cap in place, the sides dont line up exactly I bought the more expensive air filter and advance auto says the expensive one and cheap one are the same size. I can see the clamps in the front but I cant really see the back of it to make sure everything is aligned. Any suggests. Appreciate ur feedback

I know this is a old video Chris but I just put in a k&n air filter on my silverado and then took it for a drive. I noticed my oil pressure is now 60-70 psi when I'm driving. Is that normal?

Thank you! I had no idea where to begin. You are very clear and direct. Some people who already know this stuff just breeze through, skipping details that a newbie needs. Thank you!

I have very little knowledge on cars and I just want to know if this is the Engine Air Filter? I just want to confirm. Im thinking about doing it by myself on my car

The filter you changed looks pretty good compared to when I changed mine. I Just changed my air filter along with my oil the other day. it was basically pitch black

Project Farm did a video on these filters. Filtration, Static Pressure, Micron Measure, HP, and a few other things were part of the experiment

My brother wouldnt dare do this on his own. He'd pay a mechanic. Won't let me go near his car. Two women I know pay 87. 00 for oil changes
