Absolutely hilarious. Reminds me of (60 years ago) when the Candid Camera TV show put a gate on a major road where it entered Delaware. They told people who drove up to it sorry, Delaware is closed today. As one disgruntled driver turned their car around they muttered, I wish they would let people know in advance.

The parking control officer said that she was looking for the VIN number. The word number is redundant as the acronym VIN already contains that word - vehicle identification number. The same thing applies to such things as: ATM machine, IRA account, PIN number, HIV virus, just to name a few.

Surely not in the northeast. If it doesn't get stolen, the police will tow it with a hook and not a flatbed just to cause damage. And no matter if a police officer (nyc) or a tow truck driver come, both will shoot you if you try to interfere.

Coming from someone who works for parking enforcement. If it doesn't have valid license plate, we tow it away. That is what I would of done, sorry. Plus it does not have pop up and down headlights.
