SUPERCHARGERS How They Work Benjamin Rivera: Supercharge. 1999 mers. Kompressor. Still kicking ass. Great shape. But toooooo fast for me. These cars were made very good maybe because of the 2000 end of world so they did the very best to go out with a big bang. Didnt happen but we got the best fast vehicles out there. Still original and not for sale. Nice job mers.

what about the parasitic drain losses caused by running it off the engine this would lower fuel economy but get a much bigger boost. with a turbo you get the lag but there isnt too much drain involved aside from additional piping for the exhaust to hit the turbo and then exit. can you do a pro/con vs turbo vid?

The difference with superchargers and turbos is. superchargers are only used in American vehicles, old and new while turbos are used in any European and Japanese vehicles, old and new. I heard rumors the Corvette C8 might get a turbocharged V8.

Ok I swear to god I had a grand prix gtp I bought with a smaller pulley, titanium retainers, a tune and headers and it was almost as quick as a stock scat pack but this was in 35 degree weather. But In hot weather it was sllllooooow as hell.

I want to by a 2019 muscle car and would like to make the front end look like the Pursuit Mad Max Interceptor Engine. What do you suggest I say or do to the car dealer to get that same look? as far as the blower.
reply

Great video Suggestion, demonstrate a fuel injector operating with pressure on it. maybe get into pulse width. or the difference in larger flow rate injectors and the accompanying fuel pump and lines.

Over 80% of energy is still lost in the form of heat and gases. Gas combustion engines are less efficient than steam engines. I would love to supercharge steam-powered car.

You simplify that idiots turbochargers don't take any power from the engine to add boost it runs off exhaust superchargers are belt-driven and take power from engine

i just own a simple small hunchback car, and have no interest at all on cars, what more upgrading them, but this is like the 100th donut media vid i watched today.
