well. we mine and burn coal to produce electricity and use nuclear power plants and oil also, because solar and wind power plants just dont work. then we destroy the planet making very dangerous and explosive lithium batterys about 5000 or 6000 per car size 18650 that only last for 300 or 400 charger cycles and make and ELECTRIC CAR that is 3 times worst for the planets to produce than a normal petrol or diesel car and takes hours to charge and has limited range. ohhh. and they have magnets that are use to make ELECTRIC engines.

That last part is inaccurate. Because of the shorter span of time where the carbons are produced in the production of electric motors, they are actually more damaging to the atmosphere than a 13 mpg car from the 70s. Think hitting your finger with a hammer. A gasoline powered car is like the occasional bump when you miss the nail - you can walk it off as fast as it happened. Electric cars are like using a sledgehammer for the same job - your fingers are likely broken.

Many different types of lithium ion batteries and many different Model S configurations theyre not all the same. You listed the max amp output of the p100d with the ludicrous upgrade but then mixed in the specs of lower end models. 1500amps & 2. 28s 0-60 not 4. 5s. Common guys.

I'm sure I'm going to get shit for this. but recent studies have found that electric cars are worse for the carbon footprint they leave than new has vehicles. I enjoyed this episode, I loved the information up until the claim they are less harmful overall than gas.

A very simple video for people the average person to understand. I watched it because I wanted to know if electric cars used AC induction motors. The railways have been using ac traction motors for years as they are very efficient compared to dc motors

Small editing mistake 4: 32 the parallel batteries would be rated for 4 amps, not 12. And a battery doesn't contain current, it can output current. And (last complaint, I swear) current doesn't measure capacity, current OVER TIME measures capacity

Talk about energy needed to produce electric cars, yet at least we would have no more international tensions with oil trade and billions of tax dollars spent on military occupations of more oil extraction research
