I've got a used 2000 Camaro I bought for 2k a couple of weeks ago. I'm looking at doing a like-new restoration (need to fix some minor interior and exterior stuff) coupled with some mild modifications. Thanks for the inspiration. :) Clearly I don't have 10k to drop on it instantly but after I get the used-car-fix-em-up maintenance done, I'll definitely be looking at making it a nice & easy daily driver with a bit of grunt behind it! The best part? The sweet t-tops; )

Typically that problem with your fuse blowing would be the back-up/break lights which share that fuse. More common is to have a bad bulb that shorted or a corroded bulb socket. At 27 Watts each, those would draw about 4. 5 Amps. At least that was my experience with this issue. I figured it out when I got caught in traffic on a hot day. The combination of heat and constantly breaking tanked my gauges which lead me down the rabbit hole so to speak.

Gauges issue could be the soldering behind the tacho. Just old and needs a fresh resolder. Takes all but 10 mins to do once you pull the gauge cluster out. Had happened to my R33 skyline; 10 years without a working tacho then finally decided one day to try fix it and voila, working tacho!

That would be the Meter fuse, which is also on the same circuit as the factory O2 sensor, you might be running to hot EGT and overloading the sensor, throw a decent wideband in there and use the 5v signal from it to run to the ECU for the factory signal wire.

Guys. please do a bumper to bumper on a Brinks Truck or really any armored car you can get your hands on. The way they fortify their vehicles is mind blowing. Some can withstand active firefights for over 24 hours. Id love to see your thoughts on them!

Great vid. didn't know about these! Slowly doing up a Mk3 but the Mk1s are where it's at I reckon. I've gone new coilovers of course but I'm scoping second hand gear over time. Scored rims and track tyres for 600 lol.

Here is a challenge, once all the upgrades are done to the Meowta. Lets say it total like 15K, then take a 15K stock car (MK7 Gti, or Focus ST, etc) and compare them on the track. Love the videos guys

if your coolant-tune-up/mods don't keep the temps down and you're sure everything about is working perfectly, you could try adding hood vents or doing the coolant reroute mod.

Can we turn this Miata into the official Donut mascot car? Final Money Pit episode is putting a dope custom Donut racing livery on it? That would be amazing.

I am going to place a guess and say that besides the cooling system upgrade we are going to see an install of a digital gauge readout. whos with me?
