When Ford released the Raptor back in 2010, it was in a class of its own. There was nothing like it, and to this day (the TRX isn t out yet, holds the crown for the ultimate production off road pickup. And that s because Ford went about building and testing this prehistoric 4 wheeler in one of the toughest terrains in the world. The Baja 1000 is one of the most extreme off-road races on the planet, pushing your machine to it s limit. So how is the Raptor capable of tackling such extreme terrain with limited modifications? And why does Ford let you buy one of these? And why do they give you a full factory warranty as well? Today we are going to look at both versions of Baja tested Raptor - the SVT Raptor R, and the Ford Raptor Race truck!

What! Everybody goes on vacation at the same time? What world does that happen! You guys need to rotate vacation instead of making us go a week with nothing from donut! What would happen if every Walmart employee took a vacation at the same time, or every person that works for the government took a week off at the same time, for every restaurant worker took a vacation at the same time You guys are just as essential as all of those people! You can t ALL take a vacation at the same time!

This was a very good showcase on the new modular tech coming out these days, esp the electronic wastegates. Those in my time will remember it as a rumor or something that couldnt compete with a mechanical wastegate considering the high pressure, temps etc a wastegate sees.
If im not mistaken ford is the first company that made a buzz and told the world they are here and they are durable.

The Raptor was the inspriation for my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX4 build since I couldn't afford a Ford. Reservoir gas shocks, widened stance, tougher suspension components MOOG, few other things too. Its fun and I'm not afraid to scratch it since it was cheap enough. I'll have my Raptor one day!

The 2 times a Toyota Tundra raced the Raptor, the Raptor dnf one race and limped home the second race while the Toyota won both times as a slower, mostly stock truck. All that fancy suspension and technology don't mean a damn thing if you break.

SHOUTOUT TO THAT EXCURSION CAMEO! When can we expect a B2B for that lovely truck? My family had the limited edition when we came to the States, and I hate the fact everyone of my friends called that V10 Turbo Diesel Engine a van.

I bought a 2013 brand new. Put 120, 000 miles on it and still sold it for 39, 500. I tried most days to tear it up running West Texas oil field roads and I never had one repair necessary in 4 years of daily hard use.

Where does the fluid go after it's pushed through the bottom right hole on the right side. Shouldn't there be another hole in the top right? or does that break the balance of the flow of the fluid

Sometimes you wanna be in the bump zone and the ride zone. But you end up stuck in the friend zone. No matter how stiff your suspension is you ll rareley ever make it out of the friend zone.

In the UK these are exceptionally rare given the small roads and dogshit insurance/tax
So seeing one of these in person for a promotion for the new jurassic world was incredible
