The 3 Million McLaren P1 GTR is the Most Thrilling Car I've Ever Driven

The McLaren P1 GTR is the most thrilling car I've ever driven -- and the craziest street-legal car I can imagine. Today I'm reviewing the P1 GTR, and I'll show you all the quirks and features of one of the most unbelievably insane cars ever made. I'm also driving the P1 GTR to show you what it's like on the road. MarrekoMusic: spends 3 million dollars to buy a P1 GTR and then spends even more money to remove almost all the parts that make it a GTR to finish off with just a regular P1 with + 80HP and less comfort S T O N K S

Doug is accompanied by a dealer representative. I really do not understand why.
I know that cars operate in a dangerous environment [public streets] and a small accident can kill the value of a car like this, but a 3 million car: People fly 3 million airplanes every day and usually the dealer will ride with you on the test flight of the private jet, but there is no where near the pressure Doug seems to be under.
The car is insured, don't worry about it, or just drive it on a track. Both solve the issue, which is other drivers making mistakes and smashing the car.

I mean, if I'm driving my non-street-legal 3M hypercar down the street the cops are gonna pull me over because they noticed my 3M hypercar is not street legal?
My point is, what makes it street illegal? How would the cops notice?

How the hell did a car with no airbags, crash testing or presumably any emissions equipment manage to get certified to be road legal? I can't imagine they crashed a few of these.

Imagine having so much money that instead of buying an already road legal P1, you opt for the P1 GTR. But then you decide you want it road legal so you pay to have it converted.

I will probably never own a car even 1/100th of the price, but if I did have this one I would have no choice but to re-label the Master switch to Master of Puppets.

Doug you need to get an ND filter so that you don't have to use such high shutter speeds when filming during the day. It'll help with strobing of the led headlights.

28: 49 The person driving a Chevy Silverado next to Doug, was so excited for Dougcember he felt the need to decorate his car with a christmas wreath! :)

Doug the kind of guy that forgets that three videos ago he did Bugatti Divo #1 and still says it's rare to come across limited edition car #1.

So a dealership doesn t trust Doug to drive a 3million dollar car alone but a owner of a 8 million dollar Bugatti does? Make it make sense.
