Why did you replace the clutch when buying it especially since you were getting a warranty which would have presumably covered it anyway? Should you really expect a clutch on a car this expensive to be near the end of it's life after only 41, 000 miles? If you discount the tax (most people don't have to pay 4000 tax to register a car, discount depreciation (since any high end car will do the same, buy one with newish tyres and a decent clutch (I'd assumed an official dealer would have ensured this) the cost is only 3000 per year you mention. Not bad at all really.

To figure in real life prices is pretty much impossible since there are things you did that you didn't have too also the sale price of the car is what you accepted, other people could get more from the right buyer so people have to take all of your depreciation's/ deductions with a grain of salt. I really enjoy your videos but it's not worth talking about how much it cost you because you might have an agenda that we don't know about. I would rather you just talk about how the experience has effected your life. keep up the good work

hes right- brakes -clutch -tyres dont last long at all and cost a fortune to replace. they rot around the door handles, door bottoms and front wings. the interior wears out double quick. the hand brake cover will nearly always be broken. when you lift the tailgate after rain it lets loads of water in. they are constantly eating their way through your wallet one way or another. they sound great and the chicks love em because they think you have money. - they are wrong - it all went on the car

ive owned one for 6 years, 20, 000miles later, none of those expenses. just oil changes, brake pads, those hood and door shocks for a total of 500 no clutch or timing issues as Doug had. so, just doing things yourself can save a ton of cash. incorporate the depreciation, (say 15k) and original sales tax 4k, and the 4 tires for 900, (RE71s) and that totals out to about but that would be true of most any high performance car. but this is over 6 years. 20. 4K of total loss IF I sold it today.

4, 000 to register a car. LMFAO. That shit is hysterically funny. Doesn't that feel like being annaly raped by your DMV? The grip marks around your ankles must take months to clear upTo register my GT car - ANY GT car - costs me less than 200 USD annually. And the Insurance for it costs less than 300. To register my 1969 911T, it costs me an unbelievable 38 USD a year. I shouldn't laugh too hard though, because 98 octane gas in NZ is 6/gallon.

this has been no more expensive than my 911 Turbo or Audi R8. These are not more than 6k / year cars and if you are only keeping it for a year i bet you drive like it. The dealership hourly rate is what kills you. That annual service will have 150 in parts and 1100 in labor. find a good indy and accept it might take a few weeks and i have not gone cheap with anything and those same services cost me half. \

Ok serious question here. tax deductible dollars. To what extent do you need to be 'making money' from your car via youtube for it to be considered a viable business expense. I don't imagine it's as easy as just filming some videos of your car and sticking them online and claiming it as additional business revenue. or is it?

When is he going to make a what it cost me to daily drive an armored military vehicle for a year? I plan to move to suburban Nashville and that vehicle seems to be the ultimate daily driver. Hopefully he can also review the extended warranty that covers turret and grenade damage to people and property. ;-)
