Geez, how i would love to own Godzilla, the icon of tuner's wet dream cars. The R35 is nice but just doesn't have a legend behind it. Sure its faster, smoother, more refined. And even costs less (Except the new 2020 at over 200k. But the costs to make these legal for street use, fees, importing costs. hmmm, worth it? Maybe, maybe not. To a true car collector and radical tuner lover, yes. I bet Jay Leno is waiting for one too. He can afford whatever he wants.

Doug, Im from the UK, and driving right hand drive cards is fine, but I guess thats because thats pretty much all Ive driven. Only ever driven left hand drive cars when I went to Florida, took a bit of getting used it. Visibility wasnt an issue, guess its what youre used to. Visibility is no different, just the blind spots are reversed.

The R32 Vspec was sold and raced here in Australia Jim Richards won Bathurst in one they dominated touring car racing for the sort time they were allowed to race here. They changed the rules to get rid of them because they were almost unbeatable on a touring car track Bathurst etc the Holden and Ford race teams were flogged by the R32'S

I wish my Acura TL had that 1st gear lockout. I accidentally shifted into 1st causing the pistons to hit the valves, bending them. This was an expensive mistake. Switched to stiffer valve springs to prevent this from happening in the future (wonder why they didn't do this in the first place.

It looked like you spent a little more time driving this time. I guess you do love that car. I really loved the Skyline too, it was such a magical car at the time. I still like the GTR series and I am thinking really hard wether to buy a current generation GTR or a German car.

Just wanted to add a note about the oil pressure reading differences you mentioned at 8: 35: One is in kilopascals and the other is in kg/cm. They are both correct but I agree with you they should have probably used the same measuring system for consistency sake.

you have weird rules on the other side of the pond. glad im just lacking the funds of getting one. and it would be registered in notime and ready to go. its probably easier to get a minigun to carry in public than a 20yr old 280hp car.

One of my favourite cars. but for information, on the console you are looking to the oil pressure in kPa (kiloPascal) and on the Dash your looking on Kg/cm2 (Kilos force by square centimetre ), so for reference 1kPa = 0, 0101972 Kg/cm2 )

If you look closely, the difference in oil pressure readings are because each gauge was reading in a different scale. The electronic readout was in kilopascals, the dash gauge was in kilograms per centimeter squared.
