I rented a DB11 in Las Vegas as part of my 50th birthday week. His critique is spot on. It was an amazing car to drive for my 24hr rental time. Its probably one of the most comfortable supercars out there whether driving the highways out to Hoover dam or cornering at Redrock. One last thing a few people came up to me when I was next to the car with references to James bond.

I'm a huge Aston Martin fan. Ive never owned one. But ever since my time in the Navy and an officer that I knew had one. However I don't remember which one he had. (I did alot of partying in those days) This db11 is amazing though. Beautiful and I can only imagine the handling and acceleration. Thanks for another great review. Amazing car

If I win 80 million in Lotto tonight (it could happen) this would probably be the first, and possibly only, expensive car I'd buy. For me nothing compares to the look of an Aston Martin. I mean, there are other cars that arguably look better, and definitely that look more exciting, but for me this is the epitome of a modern classic.

you like db11 with all its black plastic knobs and buttons more than the amg gt? how much you get for sayin that? the electrical opening of the middle console is a joke and takes ages. one has to hold the knob, haha. you joke around the g-class and its price but seriously the db11 is even worse. thats why it doesnt get a doug score?

This car probably has a life expectancy less than a door gunner in VietNam. I'm betting 50-50 you don't make it to the first intersection without something going wrong. Aston Martin is a great car for people who love to spend time at the dealership.

The door handles are like that to force you to reach for them with your right hand. That makes it so you look over your left shoulder before opening your door, so you don't open them into a bicyclist's way. Look up Dutch reach.

The door handle isnt backwards. It positions your forearm as a fulcrum to open the long door. For someone whos job it is to get in and out of these things quickly, and with some control, Im actually impressed if this was on purpose.

I have been an Aston Martin fan since I saw the DB5 in the movie Goldfinger. I was 10 and still remember when Q showed it to James Bond. I have been an admirer of the line, off and on, since then.

I think its a decent future from Aston Martin to make to hood shut like that. They will need to open and close the hood plenty of times due to a lot of repairs on the car. Nice car by the way.
