Hi, cool video. I used to have a base 1992 wrangler. For the rear passengers, the front passenger seat lifted and stowed all the way forward so there was plenty of room to climb in on that side. Also there was a metal tire stopper mounted just under the tail light. It was probably different for the Renegade. For some reason the key release lever you have to press down was only on the standard transmissions. Not sure why. The stock automatic transmission that it had was a three speed (Chrysler 32RH) The number 3 is the amount of gears and the H stands for hydraulic shifting, in other, words there were no electronic shift solenoids.

FYI. That's not a blank gauge. its a 4wd low and high indicator. The passenger seat flips all the way forward to enter the rear, not the driver. This Jeep is missing the tire stop on the tailgate, there used to be a metal stopper under the tail light. Also the plate around the shifters from the factory had carpet covering it.

This dude is bashing on the simplicity of the wrangler, but when it comes time to fix shit would you rather have something where all the screws are hidden and you have to google how to remove it and probably break at least 1 or 2 plastic parts, or would you rather have this design where it is all easily accessible?

Even my dad's 67 Wagoneer with 3 on the tree had the parking brake next to the clutch as did our 70's CJ's. Never heard of anyone, ever, mistaking it for the clutch, LOL Even my 95 GMC K1500 has it there I's automatic but I imagine the sticks had it there too

I never really appreciated 90s cars until the late 2000's when the amount of plastic shit and tech (like placing a damn square ipad in the centre of the dashboard) became the norm and cars became just over sized, over priced poorly built peices of shit

So with the renegade you did get full carpet which that one is missing in the back, also there is on all models of the wrangler of that year a rear tire stop so it doesnt rest on the back light. try testing a Sahara from the same model year

12: 24 that's only in manual cars to stop you from accidentally locking the column while the car is still moving. Automatic cars don't have it because you can't turn the key to the lock position on an automatic unless the shifter is in park.

imagine that, you have to open the tailgate all the way to open the hatch. kinda like how you have to open the door all the way to get out of the car. must be a design flaw. next time i check my engine oil i'll only open the hood half way.

14: 16Actually, regular 4. 0s had 178 HP at the time, high output gave you 190 HP. All Jeep 4. 0s from 1997 till discontinued in 2006 were made like high outputs and gave you 190 HP, and no long said High output and just said 4. 0 L
