Stop comparing the S-Class with these cars the Genesis the Lexus are economy cars Toyota Hyundai Honda Infiniti compare those cars it doesn't make sense it's a different group of people drive those cars it's like comparing a mansion to 100, 000 house it's no comparison no matter how you try to sum it up I am a s class owner and I've been in all the cars all the cars I mention are great cars but I'm sorry they don't compare I don't care nothing about if I have to take my car to get it repair I'm not into that I can care less I ain't buy it for that purpose I bought it for what I bought it for the drive pure luxury if I want to go better than that I get a Bentley or Rolls-Royce but I won't go lower I won't buy Lexus I won't buy a Acura I won't buy an Infiniti I won't by Genesis I'll get a Cadillac before I get any of those Vehicles cuz Cadillac is a true luxury It Started From The Top

I bought a 2006 Mercedes S430 4-Matic in 2012 with 24k miles on it. It was a steal and I was very happy. Then came the 100+ oil changes and all the other big ticket bills. Having owned a 2001 Elantra GT and a 2012 Tucson I was familiar with Hyundai and very happy. Traded in that money sucking Merc and its tri-point badge for a 2016 Hyundai Genesis (before the switch) 3. 8 H-Trac and haven't looked back ONCE More horsepower and torque in the V-6 than the Merc's V-8, better gas mileage on regular gas, and all the features with the best warranty going. Snobs will be snobs. They can have their bimmers and mercs and audis and turn their nose up at me and I will NOT care

This video was a heavy dose of snark and very little substance. The features he didn't understand and therefore thought were weird actually make sense when you understand their functionality, but that's likely beyond Doug's capability. I do agree that the G90's ride falls a bit short of this car's true competitor, the Lexus LS500, but not by much and I think everything else about (quality of materials, styling, and build quality) are on par. Personally I am not a fan of the heavy, bloated feeling of the S class and would buy a Lexus or G90 instead without hesitation and save myself 40k in the process, and also not get raped every time the car needs service.

( traded after 3mo ) for the 2019 Genesis 3. 3T Sport and love all the vehicles. I trade up like I do my computer parts or underware. So found offensive the beginning of the vid. Otherwise nice vids and getting the 2020 Genny G90 ultimate 5. 0 Htrac. They decided to give it a american type name since AWD drives down sales (4x4) remember us older folk (48) here think 4x4 equals gas hog. LOL

why is it that most auto analysts condescendingly /jokingly emphasize HYUNDAI with any price over 40K? As if Hyundai should only make 10K econobox cars. Are they not familiar with all great strides that Kia and Hyundai has made in the last 10 plus years building comparable / value driven cars to Honda and Toyota? Are they not aware that Hyundai is a mega conglomerate building more cars and trucks than most other companies? Are they still stuck in the 80s era with the Excels? Just a little annoying since the that joke ihas been beaten to death.

what matters to buyers of full size luxury sedans like these is the lease price. Against an S class, they're about the same money down - but the G90 comes in at 689/month. The S class is over 1200. That's a lot of dough either way, but the genesis gives you 500 more in your pocket every month - that's almost 20, 000 over the course of 3 years. Let's put it this way, you could BUY a Kia Soul or Hyundai Kona with the money you save if you leased this instead of the Mercedes.

A lot of comments on here are from ignorant folks who can't afford Mercedes S class so they decide to shame on it. The difference between the genesis and S class is the engineering. That's why it costs more for the S class. You can't compare German engineering to Korean engineering. Those who drive cars for fun know that nothing beats German cars like Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW. THAT'S why those cars cost what they do.

So, how is the dealership experience? Do you get treated like a Hyundai owner or a Genesis owner, whatever that difference is there has to be one. I know theyll come get your car and bring a loaner for regular service eliminating some of that but part of the luxury experience isnt just the car, its how the manufacturer treats their customers regarding ownership experience.

Wow. I love the feature to be able to change my own service interval. Dealers are number 1 stealer and most of the time they don't know there shit, unless you are taking to the head mechanic. I rather look after my own car. I hate how other car manufacturer, you need to go to the dealer to program your tire sensor or reset service internal. I prefer to have more control.

Theres a lot he missed such as the proximity key working with the auto folding mirrors and the logo projection. also that car isn't fully loaded. with the 5. 0 ultimate the rear seats have seat controls built into the rear console. lastly this is a genesis. Cant complain about people not knowing about the brand when you purposely call it by the wrong name
