Your scores are a bit off IMHO although I do enjoy your videos even when I disagree with them. I have owned a 2018 Stinger GT2 and I have been in an Lexus RC F and I got to say that the quality of the RC F is not just 1 point above the Stinger that is nuts it is much higher quality. The Stinger was great but after 6k miles the paint was chipping badly, in the cabin there was a strong smell of anti-freeze after driving just a little spirited, and the handling is not even close to the RC F. I know I am picking on your scores a bit, I do agree that the Stinger is a lot more practical and a fantastic value but I have to disagree with some of the scores. I would say that the RC F is a great second high performance vehicle for people that want a RELIABLE sports/luxury coup for two passengers and can also be had for a good value compared to its direct competition.

Lexus could, and should, build a better RC/RC F. First up, if they haven't already stopped using the original frame that was a mashup of IS and GS parts, they need to. They also need better engine options. They need one that is a little more practical that can do 30 mpg combined. The V8 should stay in the RC F for sure though. They really do need to put in a better transmission though. And the 2020 RX has a substantially better infotainment that needs to make it to this car. That one needs to be put into every model. The current one feels like it's from 2008. Also, they could do away with the plastic engine cover for the F models. I think they should sell it without a back seat as well. Nobody can fit in the back. I've tried. Also, the start button is higher up than feels natural.

It WOULDNT have been a total flop if Toyota used this platform for the Supra, revamped the 2JZ-GTE and called it the 3JZ-GTE. a 600hp twin turbo inline 6. Put the 3JZ-GE (N/A version with 400hp) in the base Supra and the base FC. Put the GTE in the Supra Turbo and the RC-F. Price them right, put TRD in the lab making performance parts and BOOM. People will give a shit.

I think this is a great looking car, and Id consider one if I could get it in a manual. The problem is pricing. Just checked CarMax, and for the asking price of the three there (all automatics of course) I could get a used Cayman of similar vintage and mileage, maybe even a CPO. Or an older 911 with a few more miles. No comparison for an enthusiast in my opinion.

I personally dont mind the design, I think its unique and to each their own. The blue colour engine is pretty cool too, red seats, nice exhaust wth decent noise. But yet I just would still go with the BMW because its features can compete with the Lexus, if not more. I dont know. Also Doug farted.

Simple answer: it's overpriced. In Canada the RC 350 is 5k more than than a 440i xdrive BMW while being less powerful, slower and. it's a Lexus badge, not BMW. It gets worst with the RC-F, it's 10k more than an M4, who in their right mind would spend 10k more for a Toyota?

Not a accurate review, I own one and this is a great car which will never break down and is very unique because you barely see them around. He can't trully rate the rcf without driving it for about a month. You have to understand this car then talk your negativity.

I kinda like the old transmission in the lexus its tried and true the little bit of performance it might loose is a great trade off when your buddy's expensive m4 is in the shop and he needs you to give him a ride

Lexus F logo font is gross. Not cool in any way possible. Even little kids know that M3/4 are cool cus that badge is art and people pay for the cool BMW M cars even though they insanely unreliable over Lexus.
