GRAND TOURING AUTOMOBILES CHECK OUT ALEK The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is a supercar with a 565-horsepower V12 -- and a manual transmission. Today I'm reviewing this V12 Vantage S to show you around the Vantage -- possibly the last old school Aston Martin

Nice review. I usually tire of the in-depth features but I actually learned a few things. I haven't driven one of these but I hear the 7 speed ratios are too close together and the regular 6 speed is easier. But the Doug score misses the point. This car feels so much better than the Merc GT for example. Its a very analog car - lovely old school feel. As for depreciation - they only made 99 of these for the US As the last of the breed with V12 and dog leg manual, I don't think they will depreciate as much as a V8 or a Vanquish. The 2011 V12 Vantage Manuals values seem to have stabilized. See Autotrader - 120k list for a 7 year old car is pretty good. A 2011 V12 Vantage Fully Manual is at least 10k > than a 2015 V12 S Automated Manual (Sport Shift.

I cant see any reason why anyone would buy the Aston over the AMG GTS. On the left: Mercedes with turbo-charged engine and auto box. On the right: ASTON MARTIN with a manual, naturally aspirated V12 stuffed into the companys smallest chassis. Sorry, Doug, giving these two vehicles the same cool factor score makes a mockery of the Doug Score. Even a first-gen V8 Vantage is cooler than the Merc, let alone the V12 with a manual.

That screw is probably the one they forgot to fasten somewhere along the assembly line, and perhaps in an ironic English humor they bagged it up and put it in the car, as a testament to good old English build quality? Or maybe it's for the front license bracket, who knows. It should say so in the manual? But who reads manuals these days.

i know these stay-in-position-doors from the new Porsche Panamera. On the Panamera it is realized with gas (or oil) dampers instead of any springs like in normal cars. Is it the same construction on the Aston? And also nice is, you have to pull or push just a little bit over this breakaway point and it opens or closes smoothly.

The mirror thing is no secret, I used to work at a Jaguar Land Rover dealership, the only people that didnt know about the mirrors are the people that have never owned a nice car, which is why he had Product Delivery Specialists, quite common with dealerships up here, their whole job is to walk you through your new vehicle

I really think Doug underestimates people as far as them figuring out what their car will do. I bought a 2019 Veloster R-spec and i read all the manuals cover to cover, and thats only a 23, 000 car. I think people who are spending this much on a vehicle read their manuals. Not all but definitely more than Doug seems to think.

Reviews v12 manual Aston Martin, talks about infotainment and navigation languages half of video. And you're supposed to keep key in that pouch and pouch on the ring with other keys on your pocket. From video to video Doug seems like he don't get it. Even I keep a key in a pouch and I drive f. Opel.

This is such a beautiful car. It's just aggressive enough, but very clean, tasteful, and elegant. I like cars that don't try too hard to look good. The Vantage design has a wonderful simplicity about it, even with the contrasting vents

I'm sitting in my Jaguar xjl, and I've never known the mirrors could fold in. I watched you press both mirror buttons, and I tried it for the hell of it. It worked I now know how to power-fold the mirrors on my Jaguar. Lol Thanks I guess
