Dude, you are completely wrong about the rear fog lights. First of all; in your videos you keep talking about europe like it's a country and we all have the same regulations, which is totally wrong. We all have our own regulations. This also doesn't have anything to do with the EU. I live in the Netherlands. And here too the rear fog lights are mandatory, however: it is forbidden to use them in heavy rain, because in heavy rain the light gets reflected like hell and you can't see shit. So you're totally wrong about that. Also: the lights work best when they are as low to the ground as possible. You got that wrong as well. I know you're a real car enthousiast but please stick to the stuff you know.

The 4 minutes is probably how long the car actively monitors systems after the car is turned off. Once that period is over, it's possible that the portion of the system that monitors the roof operation resets, and would then believe the roof is in a different position than it actually is when the car is restarted. This could possibly result in a malfunction that prevents the system from operating successfully. Given that it is a Ferrari, it would probably be a rather costly problem to resolve, in which case Ferrari covered their butts with a warning in the manual.

I dont agree with your argument that Ferrari are making too many special edition cars. They generally make one standard model and one lightweight plus more horsepower version of the car. Compare that to what Lamborghini are doing. How many Aventadors are there now? The LP 700/4, LP 720/4 Anniversio, Aventador J, Aventador SV, Aventador S, Aventador SVJOr the Huracan, they made the 610/4, 580/2, the performante and now they release the Huracan EvoNow thats making the special editions lose there specialness

Hey Doug Your videos are great. I'm a big fan. I don't know if you take suggestions but I think that you should do a POV when driving instead of focusing on your face. I personally would like to see what you're seeing and also, possibly see your instrument's readings while driving. It'd be nice to see how quickly that needle goes up when you're driving. I'm aware that you may be trying to avoid some legal issues but if you manage to pull it off, specially for cars like this one, It'd be really awesome

Doug you got this one a little wrong. You gave this an 8 in styling but the Mclaren 600 a 7. In what world does this look better than a mclaren? You were even making fun of the styling with their slapped on reflectors and key hole in the middle of the door. No way shape or form is this cooler looking than that mclaren.

Fun fact, the Ferrari 458 speciale V8 engine makes more horsepower per liter than any other naturally aspirated production engine, which is most likely why it won best engine 3 years. Also in my opinion the 458 is one of the best and coolest Ferrari's ever made

The excessive reflectors are just on the US models to pass domestic legislation. Ferrari doesn't care to make a separate design division just for US sec cars. Id imagine most real Ferrari guys would just fly to Europe for the car

I love the 458 Italia. Looks great, sounds great, and drives like nothing else. Of course I've always wanted a 355, 360, and a couple others. Their V12s are great but I've always preferred their V8 models.

Doug's videos sound very different if you imagine he's a pimp reviewing his stable of ho'sI'm going to go through the quirks and features, and then take it out on the road and give it a Doug Score.
